On September 27-28, 2012, The John Marshall Law School presented a two-day symposium in Chicago addressing the development of privacy law in the United States. Amitai Etzioni of The George Washington University delivered the opening keynote address, and the symposium concluded with a closing convocation address by Justice Antonin Scalia of the United States Supreme Court. The symposium sessions featured prominent academics, advocates, and policymakers discussing various aspects of privacy law.
