The Iberians (Latin:Hibērī, from Greek:Ιβηρία) were a set of peoples that Greek and Roman sources (among others, Hecataeus of Miletus, Avienus, Herodotus and Strabo) identified with that name in the eastern and southern coasts of the Iberian peninsula, at least from the 6th century BC. The Roman sources also use the term Hispani to refer to the Iberians.
Other possibly related peoples often termed Iberian are the Turdetani, who were descendants of the Bronze ageTartessos culture (although it is not certain if the Turdetani were Iberians in the ethnic and linguistic sense) and the Vascones, that possibly were more related to the Aquitani than to the Iberians. The rest of the peninsula, in the northern, central, northwestern, western and southwestern areas, was inhabited by Celts or Celtiberians groups and the possibly Pre-Celtic or Para-Celtic Indo-EuropeanLusitanians, Vettones, and the Turdetani that also could have been Indo-European or even Celtic.

The Iberians Aquitanians and Vascones: Ancient Iberian Civilizations Ep 3
-Comments are blocked because they were full of racism and people insulting each other and I was tired to read them plus I have moved on and I make different kinds of videos. Thanks for your support regardless-
Today we are killing 3 birds with one stone and talking about 3 Iberian tribes. I hope you will like it. This has been the hardest to research for so far. Not many people like to differentiate between the Iberians and the Celtiberians so I had to go back and forth a lot. Adding to the fact there was little to no info on the Vascones and the Aquitanians.
To add insult to injury, I felt a little sick while recording this.
Regardless, enjoy the video, I will see you next time!

Why Spanish Iberian Ham Is The World's Most Expensive Cured Meat | Regional Eats
