Yes is the tenth studio album by English synthpop duo Pet Shop Boys, released on 18 March 2009 by Parlophone. The album was recorded throughout 2008 and is produced by Brian Higgins and his production team Xenomania. Xenomania also co-wrote three of the tracks. Guitarist Johnny Marr and string arranger Owen Pallett appear as well. "Love etc." was released on 16 March 2009 as the album's lead single.
Background and release
Yes debuted at number four on the UK Albums Chart on sales of 27,639 copies, the duo's highest-placing album since Bilingual (1996). Early sales figures predicted that the album would enter at number one, but its release was beset by distribution problems and Yes proved unable to hold onto its midweek position. The download version erroneously went on sale through iTunes three days before its official release date, rendering 2,500 sales ineligible for the chart, while, the following week, a number of suppliers of the physical album reported stock level problems. The album was hit by a minor manufacturing error as well: some booklets included with initial copies of the Yes etc. double CD set were stapled in the wrong order. EMI set up a website for anyone affected by this to claim a new booklet.
All Over the World is a 1965 song by the French singer Françoise Hardy.
History
The song was first recorded (lyrics and music) in French by Françoise Hardy in 1964 under the title Dans le monde entier; featuring on the album Mon amie la rose (catalogue number CLD 699.30), released in France in October 1964. Translated into English by Julian Moore under the title All Over the World, it was released in the United Kingdom on Single on 12 March 1965 by Pye Records.
On March 25, 1965, the song reached the top 50 in the United Kingdom and stayed there for 15 weeks (25 Mars-8 July 65 - in the top 20 from April 29 till June 3).
All Over the World became one of Hardy's most popular songs, and is her best known song in the Anglophone world.

Electric Light (original)
This is my tribute to Electric Light Orchestra and Jeff Lynne as a producer.
I recently purchased the Toontrack EZdrummer 3 software and this is my first one with it. I have used the SSD 5.5 for a number of years and while it's good drum software, I wanted to try something different. EZdrummer 3 drum sounds are more like raw captures of a drum set and it requires more to "sound like a record". EZdrummer 3 also required me to change my work flow quite a bit in a good way and in a not so good way: programming the drum part in Grid Editor is good but after that I have to export the drum tracks from EZD3 to wav files and then import them back to my DAW (Studio One) to separate tracks. So it's some extra work I didn't have to do with SSD 5.5 as I was able to transform the midi track directly ...
