Although the album is not currently in print, it was released to iTunes along with the other two Andy Gibb albums in 2011.
Overview
Around the same time when Barry Gibb was co-writing and recording demos for Barbra Streisand as a guideline to her, (the songs are, in Streisand's version) released on Guilty) as drugs impeding his previous ability to write and even fully sing the tracks on his own record, Andy was only able to forge his performance with nearly intrusive support from Barry as he began writing songs for Andy to sing and to include on his next album.
Recording
The album was recorded in May, continuing in October and finishing in November 1979 at the Criteria Studios. "Desire" was originally a Bee Gees song that was recorded in 1978 on the sessions of Spirits Having Flown with Barry on lead vocals but was later dropped on the album. Andy's version was recorded on 30 May 1979. Related songs that was not released from the sessions, "Warm", "Back to the Wind"(both written by Andy) and "For You" (written by Barry) Andy and Olivia Newton-John had previously performed "Rest Your Love on Me" on a UNICEF show in January that year, and later she agreed to record it in the studio as part of the album track on this album. His rendition of "Warm Ride" by the Bee Gees which was an outtake from Saturday Night Fever sessions was also included on this LP. Years later, co-producer Albhy Galuten said of it, "I don't know how that got on there". While the title track and "Wherever You Are" features Andy and Barry singing together. And the ballad "Dreamin' On" closes the album.
After Dark is the second and last album by Los Angeleschicano rockbandCruzados, released in 1987. This album is lesser known to its 1985 preceder, as is the line-up for the band, which features guitaristMarshall Rohner in the place of Steven Hufsteter. The album featured fewer elements of blues, and featured more acoustic songs ("Small Town Love", "Time for Waiting") and even experimented with pop-rock ("I Want Your World to Turn") and folk rock ("Road of Truth"). The album's songwriting was also mainly done by rhythm guitarist and lead vocalistTito Larriva, with help from bassistTony Marsico on a few songs.
A year after the album was released, the band split up.
Track listing
All songs written by Tito Larriva, except where noted.
On June 30, 2010, a "#0" issue was released as a prequel. The official start of the main series is August 2010.
Publication history
The first book is due to be released in August (ISBN 1-935417-15-0) and the second in October (ISBN 1-935417-16-9).
Plot synopsis
The series is set in a post-apocalyptic near-future in which the Earth exists in a state of near-perpetual darkness. Civilization has largely become confined to domed cities in which the populace exists in a state of drug-addled stupor in order to while away time between birth and death.
The rulers of Solar City, the most populated of humanity's remaining bastions, enlist a Bedouin drifter, named simply Omar, to lead a team into the wilds outside of the city in search of the savior they believe may exist somewhere in the sparsely populated wilds.
"After Dark"(アフターダーク,Afutā Dāku) is a song by JapaneseIndie rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation. It was released as the second single of their fifth studio album, World World World, on November 7, 2007, nearly a whole year after the release of the album's lead single. The single debuted in the top ten on the Oricon charts and was selected to be used as the seventh opening theme of the anime series Bleach.
Music video
The music video for "After Dark" was directed by Tadashi Tsukagoshi. The narrative video tells the surrealistic story of an ordinary young salaryman who wakes up one day to find wings sprouting out his back. At first, the man tries to hide them and continue going about his everyday life. However, as time goes on, the wings gradually grow larger and become increasingly harder to hide from his friends and co-workers. All the while, the scenes are intercut with a visual of AKG, expressing similar wings, playing the song in a giant birdcage.

ANDY GIBB -"AFTER DARK" (1980)
''After Dark'' is an album by Andy Gibb. It was his final studio album, and was released in 1980.
With drugs impeding his previous ability to write and even fully sing the tracks on his own record, Gibb was only able to forge his performance with nearly intrusive support from brother Barry. In March 1980 the last of Gibb's Top Ten singles charted just ahead of the album's release. "Desire" was originally recorded for the Bee Gees' 1979 album ''Spirits Having Flown'' but had Andy record new lead vocals replacing those of Barry's. A single, "I Can't Help It", a duet with family friend Olivia Newton-John, reached the Top Twenty.
The album's poor performance, coupled with Gibb's mounting drug problems, would lead to RSO Records dropping Gibb from its roster. On VH1's Behind the Music, labe...

ANDY GIBB ~ AFTER DARK ~
There not anything I would not do to ease your troubled mind
Where you are , there is a different feeling
I wake up , I'm on the ceilin' , opens up your eyes
What a shape ! Someone you can't forget for any time
Oh , let me show you mine , immediately
After dark where the lights start fading sweet and low
I wanna be there , I wanna be there
We leave immediately
After dark where the lights start fading sweet and low
I wanna be there , I wanna be there
We leave immediately
After dark
There is no limit that I would not go
If I could lie beside
Where you are , there is a different out there
Love in the jungle can be hard to realize
What a shape ! Someone you can't forget for any time
Oh , let me show you mine immediately
After dark where the lights are fading sweet and low
