Andrew Roy "Andy" Gibb (5 March 1958– 10 March 1988) was an English singer, songwriter, performer and teen idol. He was the younger brother of the group Bee Gees, Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb.
Gibb came to international prominence in the late 1970s with six singles that reached the Top 10 in the United States starting with "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" (1977), as well as three other top 20 singles. Gibb's success was brief, as he battled drug addiction and depression and died just five days after turning 30.
Life and career
1958–75: Early life and first recordings
Andrew Roy Gibb was born on 5 March 1958 in Manchester, England. He was the youngest of five children of Barbara and Hugh Gibb. His mother was of Irish and English descent and his father was of Scottish and Irish descent. He has four siblings: his sister Lesley, and three brothers Barry and fraternal twins Robin and Maurice.
At the age of six months, Gibb emigrated with his family to Queensland, Australia, settling on Cribb Island just north of Brisbane. After moving several times around Brisbane and Sydney, Andy returned to the United Kingdom in January 1967 as his three older brothers began to gain international fame as the Bee Gees.
"Will You Love Me Tomorrow", also known as "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow", is a song written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King. It was originally recorded in 1960 by The Shirelles, who took their single to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song is also notable for being the first song by an all-girl group to reach No. 1 in the United States. It has since been recorded by many artists over the years, including a 1971 cover version by co-writer Carole King.
The Shirelles version
Background
In 1960, the American girl group The Shirelles released the first version of the song as Scepter single 1211, with "Boys" on the B-side. The single's first pressing was labelled simply "Tomorrow", then lengthened later. When first presented with the song, lead singer Shirley Owens (later known as Shirley Alston-Reeves) did not want to record it, because she thought it was "too country." She relented after a string arrangement was added. However, Owens recalled on Jim Parsons' syndicated oldies radio program, Shake Rattle Showtime, that some radio stations had banned the record because they had felt the lyrics were too sexually charged. The song is in AABA form.
"I Just Want to Be Your Everything" is a song recorded by Andy Gibb, initially released in 1977. It reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 during the week of 30 July 1977 and again in 17 September. It was Gibb's first single released in the United Kingdom and United States.

Andy Gibb - I Just Want to Be Your Everything
Andy Gibb's 1977 hit "I Just Want to Be Your Everything."
Lyrics:
For so long
You and me been finding each other for so long
And the feeling that I feel for you is more then strong, girl
Take it from me
If you give a little more then you're asking for
Your love will turn the key
Darling mine
I would wait forever for those lips of wine
Build my world around you, darling
This love will shine girl
Watch it and see
If you give a little more then you're asking for
Your love will turn the key
I, I just want to be your everything
Open up the heaven in your heart and let me be
The things you are to me and not some puppet on a string
Oh, if I stay here without you, darling, I will die
I want you laying in the love I have to bring
I'd do anything to be your everything

Maybe I don't wanna know the reason why But lately you don't talk to me Darling I can't see me in your eyes I hold you near but you're so far away And it's losing you I can't believe To watch you leave and let this feeling die You alone are the living thing that keeps me alive And tomorrow if I'm here without your love You know I can't survive Only my love can raise you high above it all Don't throw it all away , our love , our love Don't throw it all away , our love Don't throw it all away , our love , our love Don't throw it all away , our love (break) We can take the darkness and make if full of light But let your love flow back to me How can you leave and let this feeling die This happy room will be a lonely place when you are gone And I won't even have your shoulders for the crying on No other women's love could be as true , I'm begging you Don't throw it all away , our love , our love Don't throw it all away , our love Don't throw it all away , our love , our love Don't throw it all away , our love We changed the world we made it ours to hold But dreams are made for those who really try This losing you is real But I still feel you here inside Don't throw it all away , our love , our love Don't throw it all away , our love Don't throw it all away , our love , our love Don't throw it all away , our love (repeat last verse at least twice more and fade out)
