"Twenty Years" is a song recorded by alternative rock band Placebo, and included on their 2004 best-of compilation release, Once More with Feeling. It was the only entirely new song to be released as a single (although Protège-Moi, a French-language re-recording of an earlier song, was released in France). It was available with a video, radio play, and CD single distribution.
Furthermore, the song was one of two songs (with The Bitter End), performed by Placebo at the Paris leg of the international Live 8 benefit concert in 2005.
When played live, the song often had an extra middle eight section added on, complete with heavy experimental guitar. Since 2009, live shows feature an arrangement of the song that was first performed during the Live at Angkor Wat concert.
Idaho is a mountainous state with an area larger than that of all of New England. It borders the US states of Montana to the northeast, Wyoming to the east, Nevada and Utah to the south, and Washington and Oregon to the west. To the north, it shares a 45mi (72km) international border with the Canadian province of British Columbia, the shortest such land border of any state. The network of dams and locks on the Columbia River and Snake River make the city of Lewiston the farthest inland seaport on the Pacific coast of the contiguous United States.
Idaho's nickname is the "Gem State", because nearly every known type of gemstone has been found there. In addition, Idaho is one of only two places in the world where star garnets can be found in any significant quantities, the other being India. Idaho is sometimes called the "Potato State" owing to its popular and widely distributed crop. The state motto is Esto Perpetua (Latin for "Let it be forever" or "Let it endure forever").
Fires is the second album by London-born singer-songwriter Nerina Pallot. First released in April 2005 on her own independent record label, Idaho Records, Fires was met with much critical acclaim but did not gain commercial recognition.
After working as a support act for artists such as Sheryl Crow and Suzanne Vega, Pallot was signed up to 14th Floor Records, who were impressed with the audience response and after-show sales of her album. Thus, Fires was reissued in late April 2006 with revamped artwork and some slight remixes on some of Pallot's songs. The album entered at UK #41 and later, on the strength of the popular single "Everybody's Gone to War", made it as far as #21.
To date, the album has been certified gold in the UK for sales of over 100,000, and has earned Pallot a nomination at the 2007 BRIT Awards for Best British Female. As of 4 October 2009, the album has sold 138,563 copies in the UK.

ST. ANTHONY — Lori Vallow Daybell’s attorney has filed an appeal and is asking the Idaho Supreme Court to examine her case, guilty verdict and sentence.
Daybell was ordered to life in prison without parole in July for killing her two youngest children, 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan, as well as conspiring to kill Tammy Daybell, her fifth husband’s then-wife.
In a notice of appeal filed Thursday, Jim Archibald, Daybell’s lawyer, asked the Supreme Court to consider 16 issues, including:
Whether District Judge Steven Boyce erred in finding Daybell competent for trial after she spent 10 months in a mental hospital
Whether Boyce erred in denying Archibald’s request to send Daybell back to the mental hospital rather than proceeding to trial
Whether Daybell’s constitutional rights to a speedy trial were violated by the prosecutor’s requests for continuances
Whether Boyce erred when he allowed prosecutors to present evidence of crimes in the pending Arizona case concerning the death of Charles Vallow (Daybell’s fourth husband) and the attempted murder of Brandon Boudreaux (Daybell’s former nephew-in-law)
Whether Boyce abused his discretion by sentencing Daybell to serve three consecutive fixed life sentences without parole
Whether Boyce abused his discretion by ordering Daybell, who is indigent and has a public defender, to pay $165,018 in fines and court costs
RELATED | Lori Vallow Daybell was convicted of murder. Her attorneys are asking for a new trial.
Archibald also filed a request asking the state to appoint appellate public defenders to take over the appeal portion of the case.
Appeals of felony convictions, especially in murder cases, are common. They must be filed within 42 days of sentencing. A transcript of Daybell’s trial will now be prepared for the Supreme Court, and Archibald is also requesting transcripts of Daybell’s competency hearings, pretrial hearings and the sentencing hearing.
The appellate process can be lengthy and may take several years. The Idaho attorney general will assign a lawyer to represent the prosecution, and that attorney, along with the defense appellate attorney, will prepare written briefs and likely present oral arguments before the state Supreme Court issues its decision.
There could be some delays in Daybell’s appellate case as the state of Arizona plans to extradite her on conspiracy to commit murder in Vallow’s death and for the attempted murder of Boudreaux.
Daybell was booked into the Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center a month ago. The trial for Chad Daybell, her husband, is scheduled to begin April 1 in Ada County.
