The game was not the first "World Championship" game between English and Scottish sides; however, it was the first such club competition won by an English team, with previous winners being Hibernian and Renton (both Scottish Cup winners, as the leagues had not been yet created at the time). The Scottish and English leagues were pre-eminent in the world at that time, with the only league outside the UK being in Argentina.
As the 2011 Under-21 World Cup Final was staged in Russia, the Russian team was seeded directly into the Final. The other three finalists were to be determined in two Semi-Finals on May 28.
However, Sweden, who qualified for the Final by winning Semi-final 1, and Australia who qualified by winning Semi-final 2, both withdrew from the Final due to travel cost and visa problems. After both Poland and Finland declined to replace them, their places in the Final was taken by the Ukraine and Czech Republic. Anticipating cost and visa problems, Great Britain declined to enter a team in the 2011 Junior World Cup.
On home soil, the Russians easily won their first Under-21 World Cup, scoring 61 points to claim a massive 30 point victory over reigning champions Denmark. The Ukraine and Czech Republic finished tied on 29 points each with the Ukraine's Aleksandr Loktaev defeating Václav Milík, Jr. in a runoff to decide third place.
The 2010 Team Speedway Junior World Championship will be the 6th FIMTeam Under-21 World Championship season. The Final took place on September 5, 2010 at Rye House Stadium in Rye House, Great Britain. It was the first Final in Great Britain. The Championship was won by Denmark, who beat Sweden, the defending champion Poland and host team Great Britain. It was first time-ever, when this championship was won by not-Polish riders.
Results
In the 2010 Final will be the host team Great Britain. Another finalist will be determined in two Qualifying Rounds on May 29 and June 19.
M - exclusion for exceeding two minute time allowance •

The winner of Semi-final 2 held on the same day in Opole, Poland would earn the last place in the Final.
The 2009 Team Speedway Junior World Championship will be the fifth annual FIMTeam Under-21 World Championship competition since its introduction in 2005. The final will take place on September 5, 2009 in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland. It will be the second final held in Poland, but the first in Gorzów; in 2006, the final took place in Rybnik, where Poland beat Sweden, Denmark and Germany.
Format
In the final will be the host team and the defending champions Poland. The other finalist will be determined in two qualifying rounds (semi-finals). Why was women’s football banned for decades?
Women’s football was banned for decades in many countries, including England, France, Spain and Brazil. And that’s a key reason why women’s football still lags behind the men’s game today.

1895 And All That: The Birth of Rugby League
This a very old video, but thank you for making it one of my most viewed! I wanted my own take on the famous Rugby code split, so even though the quality isn't as up to my current standards, I'm glad that people still enjoy and find value in it.
