I have to say the fight choreography is impressive and yes Awkwafina is still as funny as ever, Jackpot!’s crazy mix of laughs and thrills follows too familiar a buddy-action-comedy route to win any prizes, for me but it passes the time well enough and made me laugh a bunch!
The film’s writer Rob Yescombe, if you don’t know has a background in video games, yes I’m a nerd and I know this. With saying that so much of the story unfolds out like a cut Playstation scene that never gets to the point sometimes, but it’s still fun!
