Synopsis[]
Pereshati Jahardt is a count's daughter who got remarried after her mother’s passing. When her father died, he left her all his fortune. Then, Pereshati's greedy stepmother and stepsister conspire with Pereshati's lover to kill her. However, under mysterious circumstances, Pereshati is brought back to life and travels back in time before her murder. To buy some time before getting her revenge, Pereshati visits the handsome yet notorious grand duke, Therdeo Lapileon, to marry him. During her visit, she uncovers a horrifying secret of his family. How will Pereshati deal with it? Will she be able to take her revenge?

Pereshati Jahardt[]
The central protagonist and daughter of Earl Jahardt, Pereshati is killed by her stepmother, Reina, and Schiff, but is transported back in time before her death. She marries Therdeo in order to protect her life and family fortune.
Therdeo Lapileon[]
The present Grand Duke, known for being a "bloodthirsty war fiend" after his victory in the war against Schwartz. He marries Pereshati after realizing she comes back to life after exposure to their blood.
Lapileon Family[]
- Saoirse Lapileon: Therdeo's older sister and head of the Labrons, their family's guild. Although the Lapileons do not allow women to inherit, she took on the title after her brother's death. However, her husband and child died from exposure to her blood and she gave up the title of Grand Duke.
- Celphius Lapileon: Therdeo's nephew, he is the heir to the Grand Dukedom. His father was Therdeo's deceased older brother.
- Gloria Lapileon: The oldest living member of the household and the current head other than Therdeo.
- Phineas Lapileon: The family doctor and uncle to Therdeo and Saoirse. He adopts Islette after Gen is apprehended.
Dodolea Castor[]
The Fourth Princess, in the original timeline she was sick and confined to bed. However, at present she is healthy, and wishes to marry Therdeo, to the point of obsession.

Pereshati's stepmother who helped kill her in her original timeline. She is revealed to have had a hand in murdering the Earl.
Reina Lopez[]
Pereshati's stepsister and one of the accomplices in her original death. She currently serves as a companion to the Fourth Princess.
Islette Lapileon[]
The illegitimate daughter of Gen. She was abused by her father, who was earning a profit by selling her blood. She is found and rescued by the Lapileons and adopted into the family.
