Synopsis[]
The year is 1989, and Jackson is starting his senior year at a brand new school. Even though he's back in his hometown with his new family, he can't seem to shake this ominous and uneasy feeling invading his mind. It's not until he meets the popular kid, Exer, that reality starts to feel more like the work of his imagination.
Characters[]
Jackson[]
Jackson Smith is the main protagonist of the series. He lives with his Uncle Frank and Aunt Carol, and attends Jeanes High School. He is Pamela's boyfriend and is best friends with Ken Okamoto, Jolie Sea and Timothy. Jackson seems awkward and often misunderstood, however, he tries hard to clear up any misunderstandings from others. He is a gifted, intelligent student with great athletic abilities. He overthinks and tends to get lost in his thoughts.
Exer[]
Exer Campbell is one of the protagonists and the former main antagonist. He lives with his father, and attends Jeanes High School. He is in a romantic relationship with David Miller. He is also in the clique, the R.E.Ds, along with his friend Ronald Novikov and David. Exer has demonstrated various magical abilities, usually leaving a green mist around him and a neon-green glow from his eyes.
David[]
David Miller is a main character. He is a senior at Jeanes High School along with his twin sister, Brenda, and his boyfriend, Exer. David can be incredibly socially oblivious and although he could just be pretending, his straightforward personality makes it seem unlikely.
Ronald[]
Ronald "Ron" Novikov, is a prominent character. He is hosted at Jackson's house as an exchange student. Ron comes off as intimidating or scary due to his height and muscular body structure, but he is actually very sweet. He is also a very curious person who is observant and loves to gossip, despite hardly speaking.
Pamela[]
Pamela Lopez is a prominent character. She is Brenda Miller's best friend and Jackson Smith's girlfriend. Although she seems rude at first, Pamela is a kind person. After being bullied by the whole school because of Exer, she was only close with Jackson and Brenda for a while. Eventually, Exer apologized, and she became friends with him and the REDs again. Most people call her the "Wicked Witch of the West" because she told the school about Exer's supernatural powers. Nobody believed her, hence the nickname.
Brenda[]
Brenda Miller is a main character in the series and the twin sister of David Miller. She used to date Exer in 1989. Brenda is bubbly, kind, understanding, and is always cheerful around most people except for Exer, who she later on came to forgive. She is quite protective of her friends like Jackson and Pamela.
