Synopsis[]
The five packs of Dire Wolves struggle to unite themselves after years of conflict, as a dark prophecy looms overhead, bringing with it longer, colder nights and an old and vengeful evil.

Reidun[]
Physical Desc.
Forest Howler wolf, dull brown fur, cream underbelly, grey mane, brown eyes.
Personality
Compassionate and gentle, she leads her pack firmly without using intimidation or aggression. Reidun is the primary protagonist of the comic, and- unfortunately- is Silver Eye's favourite wolf to torment.
Relationships
Sigurd: Reidun's beloved mate and co-alpha. She loves Sigurd to the ends of the Continent and turns to him for support and comfort.
Silver Eye: Reidun's arch-enemy and, to an extent, personal demon. Silver Eye has been steadily wearing down Reidun's resolve, but has not yet succeeded in crushing her spirit.
Ragna: Reidun's best friend and other confidant. She is deeply grateful to Ragna for her generosity and kind nature, and finds herself at ease when they are together.
"I hope you know enough stories to keep us safe from whatever darkness awaits us."
Silver Eye[]
Physical Desc.
A tar demon taking the form of a Smilodon with black fur and darker rosettes, a slightly lighter colored mane, battered with scars, a prominent scar over the right eye that has gone blind and turned silver from the wound, the left eye is red with a yellow pupil.
Personality
Vicious and calm, tactical and intimidating in nature, she remains an untrustworthy individual. Silver Eye is determined to destroy the dire wolves and end her curse, so that she can gain control of the Continent for herself.
Relationships
Reidun: Silver Eye's favourite prey and arch-enemy. She is determined to break Reidun in both body and mind.
The Destroyer: Silver Eye's maker and father figure. She resents him for cursing her with endless hunger, but cannot bring herself to fully hate him.
"I will NOT be forgotten! I will NOT be abandoned! AND I WILL NOT BE REPLACED!"
Sigurd[]
Physical Desc.
Forest Howler wolf, yellow fur, cream mane and brown accents.
Personality
A soft and caring soul who shares a certain kindness that Reidun has, and has good faith. Sigurd is diplomatic and protective of his family, and is one of the few optimists who believe the packs will survive The Endless Night.
Relationships
Reidun: Sigurd loves Reidun endlessly and will do anything to protect her. He grows increasingly worried for her health and hopes they will both return home safely in the end.
Vidar: During their journey, Sigurd and Vidar have become good friends who bond over fatherhood and their devotion to their packs.
"I hope we can remain friends after this is over."
Gunvald[]
Physical Desc.
Prairie Howler wolf, tawny brown fur, cream underbelly and brown patches.
Personality
Gunvald is best known as a cynical and crude thorn in everyone's sides, who arrogantly continues to present himself as aloof since his ruined reputation and history.
Relationships
Vidar: Vidar blames Gunvald for the deaths of his wife and daughter, and refuses to forgive him. Gunvald hides his shame and guilt beneath his guise of arrogance, which only deepens Vidar's dislike of him.
Bjorn: Bjorn hopes he and Gunvald can become friends despite the tragedy that connects them. He does not blame Gunvald for his mother and sister's deaths, but Gunvald remains suspicious of him.
"No wolf wants to be friends with an alpha just for their company... Especially not when that alpha is me."
