Xenophobes are villains who hate, dislike and/or fear certain large groups of people. For example, cultures, countries, communities, clans, races, orientations, religions, species, factions and/or individuals who are different altogether. Many use these prejudicial movements as a means to oppress those they dislike; they overlap with supremacists due to similar beliefs and motives, but some supremacists adopt a twisted code of "duty" in which other races are "inferior" in comparison to their own, while xenophobes are much less concerned with such things and are openly hostile to those outside their own group.

They can hate their own kind or others because they have inherent genes according to their family tree's relations and do not know how to accept themselves or because they ended up getting betrayed by a member of their own kind in the past. This means they can be insecure though it may not be the case if they become Pure Evil, which rules out insecurities. Xenophobic villains act out of prejudices on instinct letting them cloud their judgment and using them against others for the aforementioned reasons or other ill purposes. Sometimes, they will even go as far as take advantage of other people's hatred towards a group to further their agenda or spread rumors so others will side with them.

These are sadly a type of Real-Life Villains who crusade against anything and anyone they see as different, hoping to drive them away and/or wipe out traces of their existences.

Villains who incite hatred (e.g. Adolf Hitler, Lord Voldemort, Salazar Slytherin, Hody Jones, Pastor Boyd and Sprout Cloverleaf) enter into this category because they hate not only other people, but they also want to spread their hatred among others.

There are many types of xenophobia, but don't get confused by the "phobia" part. Not all xenophobes are cowardly or paranoid. They may or may not show those qualities, but what they always show is hatred.

Note: If Villains qualify as misanthropes, they do not need be deemed Xenophobes unless they have a disdain for different species as well or separate dislikes of certain groups (e.g. Donald Love, Crossbones, and Dr. Robotnik). If they are genocidal, do not add this as these are only for characters who hate other races and/or species but are not attempting to commit genocide. That said, villains who are prejudiced towards other species (e.g. Koba, Adam and Emperor Belos) may resort to genocide once they let their hatred get the best of them. Do not add villains who hate other races for reasons completely unrelated to bigotry (e.g. Megatron who hates organics only because they are a constant foiler of his plans).
