Thank you for your continued patience with delays related to the IEEE.org, Computer.org, and Comsoc.org e-mail alias service. Due to grid power outages caused by Hurricane Sandy, we have had to move many IEEE services to our backup facility. Since the move on 3 November our alias service has been experiencing severe delays. E-mail messages are moving through the system, but at a slow rate causing a significant backlog. We want to assure you that we have taken action to improve the performance of the alias service.

Our servers will try to deliver these e-mail messages for about one day. After that, the sender (who originally sent you the message) will receive a notice that their message to you was not delivered.

ハリケーンSandyが原因の商用電源停電により，多くのIEEEサービスをバックアップ機材へ移動させなければなりませんでした．
11月3日以降，我々のメール転送サービスはひどい遅延が発生していました．電子メール通信はシステムで処理されていますが，しかしながら遅延が重要な課題を残しつつあります．

なんで冗長化されてないんだろう？とか，なんでUser Unknown？（NISサーバが引けなかった？）とか疑問には思いますが，まぁ，大変だったんでしょうねぇ．復活しつつあるので，応援したいと思います．
