- Chef is seen wearing the same drill instructor outfit that he occasionally wore in the original series, with the only difference being the absence of a whistle and his shirt being a different shade of green.
- This episode coincidentally takes place on Cinco de Mayo, the same event the characters are celebrating.
- This is the second episode to concide with an event the kids are celebrating, the first being Pudding the Planet First which concides with Earth Day and the third being Ghoul Spirit and Duncan Carving which concide with 2020 Halloween Week.
