Man followed woman home before attempted break-in: Cops

Police are looking for a man accused of following a woman from the TTC to her home as part of an attempted break-in.
Toronto Police responded on June 24 at 6:39 a.m. to a call for a break-and-enter in the Eglinton Ave. W.-Gabian Way area in North York.
Police said a person met the victim on the TTC subway at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station and followed her back to her residence, where he forced entry into her home.
Cops said that the suspect fled after being confronted by other residents.
The person is described as male, 22-35 years of age, 5-foot-5 and approximately 140 pounds with collar-length black curly hair. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.
He was carrying a beige backpack, black duffel bag and a pair of garden shears, which were left behind.
