How are ePaper subscriptions billed?

You can pay for your ePaper Subscription monthly or on an annual basis using any major credit card. The charge will show up on your credit card from PressReader/Newspaper Direct as PRESSREADER EPAPER RICHMOND BC.

Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance every month and are renewed automatically.

Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for the full 12-month period and renew automatically at the end of each annual term.

How do I manage my ePaper subscription and billing information?

  1. Visit http://epaper.torontosun.com/ and sign-in.
  2. Click on the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner of the website and select My Account
  3. Select the Subscription tab
  4. Once there, you will be able to view and manage your subscription(s)
  5. To update payment information, scroll down past the subscription history until you see the Payment Method section.

How do I receive my Digital News Subscription Tax Credit?

As a Toronto Sun ePaper subscriber, your subscription qualifies for the Digital News Subscription Tax Credit. You can claim the total amount paid for your Postmedia Digital subscription during the year 2024. Postmedia’s QCJO number is Q9469016. I get home delivery of the printed newspaper. Do I get the ePaper?

Yes! The ePaper is included with your Home Delivery Subscription

To activate your ePaper access:

  1. Go to http://epaper.torontosun.com/ and click Activate Your Account
  2. Under the sign in options, select Create an Account
  3. When registering, be sure to include your phone number and postal code, as this will link your print subscription with your ePaper access

If you've already created an account and your ePaper access doesn't seem to be available, please contact us so we can verify your information

What do I do if I forget or want to change my ePaper password?

  1. Go to http://epaper.torontosun.com/ and click Sign In
  2. Above the password box, click Forgot Password
  3. Enter your email address and click Submit. This will send you an email with a link to reset your password
  4. After clicking the link, you will be prompted to enter and reconfirm your new password
  5. Click Submit and your password will be updated

What is the cancellation and refund policy for ePaper?

You can cancel your ePaper subscription at any time.

Once you cancel, we will stop charging your account for the following billing cycle. All ePaper subscriptions are non-refundable. You will continue to have access to Toronto Sun ePaper, including access to online publications, until your subscription expiry/cancellation date. We cannot refund promotional offers of gift cards.

Since the ePaper is available from any device anywhere in the world,you can enjoy it even when you’re away. (Please note, it is not possible to put your Online Access subscription on hold.)

How are Online Access subscriptions billed?

You can pay for your Online Access Subscription monthly or on an annual basis using any major credit card. The charge will show up on your credit card from Postmedia Digital Subscription.

Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance every 30 days and are renewed automatically.

Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for the full 12-month period and renew automatically at the end of each annual term.

Auto-renewal preferences can be managed online under Manage My Subscription.

How can I mute or unmute a commenter?

To mute a commenter you must click on the commenters display name. A pop-up will appear on the right hand side of the screen and you must select “Mute”. To view the commenters you have muted you may click on “Community” in the same pop-up. You can manage the commenters you have muted in this screen.

How can I report a comment or commenter?

You may use the “Report” button on the individual comment you wish to flag. Our third party moderator will review the comment in question or commenter and make a determination based on our community guidelines. The “Report” option is visible in the bottom right hand corner of each comment. You must hover over the comment to see this option.

How do I manage my Online Access subscription and billing information?

Please follow these steps to manage your account online:

  1. Visit torontosun.com and look in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Sign-in to sign into your account. Once you are signed in, you can click My Account
  3. Select Manage My Subscription under My Account
  4. In the Toronto Sun Online Access box, click Manage
  5. From there, you will be able to manage your subscription (Library tab) and update your payment information (Cards tab) among other options

Why can't others see my comments?

If you are using Edge, it is one of the browsers that blocks our commenting widget if any of a list of adblocker versions is turned on. You will need to accept third-party cookies in order to comment using an Edge browser. Instructions on how to do this are below. Open Microsoft Edge on your computer.
  1. click on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the browser window.
  2. Select “Settings” from the drop down menu.
  3. In the Settings menu, scroll down and click on “Privacy, search and services” in the left sidebar.
  4. Under the “Privacy” section, click on the “Cookies and site permissions” option.
  5. Next, click on the “Cookies and site data” option.
  6. Here, you can toggle the switch to ”Block third-party cookies” to prevent third-party cookies from being saved on your browser.
  7. You can also manage exceptions by clicking on “Manage exceptions” under the “Sites that can always use cookies” section. Here, you can add specific websites to allow or block third-party cookies.
  8. After making your changes, you can close the Settings tab.

Why do some articles have commenting disabled?

The decision to enable comments on certain articles and not others is at the discretion of our editorial leadership. If you would like to submit a comment to our editor, you may do so by visiting our contact page and selecting “Letter to the Editor”.

Why is commenting closed early on some articles?

We have recently made changes to our commenting times to help reduce spam in our commenting and encourage more civil conversations. If you would like to submit a comment about this change to our editor, you may do so by visiting our contact page and selecting “Letter to the Editor”.

    To reset your password click on the Forgot Password link.

  3. Enter your email address

    In the dialog box that opens, enter your email address and proceed to check your email to receive a reset password link.

  4. Reset password link via email

    Click the Reset your password link in the email to be directed to password reset page.

  5. Set a strong new password

    Enter a strong new password. Making sure it’s at least 10 characters long with a mix of letters and numbers, as well asa special character.

    * Please note, acceptable special characters that can be used are $, %, #, @, &, *

  6. Reset password

    Once you’ve entered a strong password with at least 10 characters, upper case and lower case letters, at least one number and at least one special character, continue by clicking Reset Password.

  7. You're all done!

    Use your updated password to sign into our site.
