The Owl House Wiki:Discord

Discord is a free voice and text chat app. It is more convenient than the Wikia integrated chat. It can be accessed through a web browser or the Discord app which can be downloaded from their website. Help on how to use Discord can be found here.

How to Join

1. Register an account. This can be done here. Afterward, make sure the email used to register the account is verified.
2. Get Discord. You can download the Discord app here. Alternatively, you can use Discord in-browser.
3. Connect to the official The Owl House Wiki Discord. You can find the server on the main page in our social links. Also, a link is found at the bottom of this page.
4. After joining the server, you'll find yourself in the #rules-and-info channel. You will find the channel list on the left-hand side.

Rules

• Be respectful to the community: This is the golden rule. Treat others how you'd like to be treated! We are all here to have fun and make friends; to ensure a friendly environment, we ask you to be kind, and respectful towards everyone. Personal attacks, spam, racism, trolling, baiting, doxing, or otherwise heavily causing detriment will not be tolerated in any capacity. Alt accounts will be kicked from the server. Don't be toxic and use common sense.
• Keep chat clean, organised, and civil: Keep all conversations to their relevant channels, if possible. Political, religious, or other controversial topics are allowed at discretion. Engaging in heated arguments will lead to severe punishments, so please keep it civil. All conversations must be kept in English.
• No NSFW or inappropriate content: NSFW content - including gore and guro - is strictly forbidden anywhere in this server. Sexual conversations are disallowed. Heavily offensive nicknames are discouraged, and you may be asked by a moderator to change it. Images depicting graphic intentions of suicide, and/or self-harm are not allowed.
• Keep The Owl House spoilers in the The Owl House channels: Spoilers must be kept in the The Owl House category of channels for 48 hours after an episode airs. However, be considerate of your fellow users, and do not intentionally spoil other people in non-The Owl House channels if they haven't caught up on the show.
• Do not leech off the userbase: Do not use our server as a means of advertising your, or other people's servers. We've put a lot of hard work into this server, and we ask you respect our work and the server! DMing people links to other servers is also not allowed, unless prompted for one. Please contact a moderator if somebody sent you unsolicited server invites.
• Don't harass the show staff: Attacking or demonising the show staff for writing decisions or any other reasons is strictly forbidden. We want this place to be friendly towards the people who work hard on The Owl House, and their decisions should be respected at all times. With the large and growing size of our server, it is possible that a crew member of The Owl House might come and join us here. We kindly ask for you not to ping or DM them if this were to happen. They are likely too busy to respond and should be treated with respect.

The Discord server utilizes several bots. They serve various purposes, all of which are listed below. Each has certain commands that a user can type to have the bot respond with a list of all the available commands it possesses.
