Ashley Barrett mentioned him in "We Gotta Go Now", saying A-Train served four more years in The Seven than him.
He is mentioned one more time by Lamplighter in "Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker" while taking a backdoor entrance to the Seven Tower, Lamplighter mentions to Hughie Campbell that he and Mister Marathon used to sneak applying college girls this back way.
Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman[]
On Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman, it's revealed that Mister Marathon is alive and still active in some form, having had a race against his successor A-Train that was canceled.

Mister Marathon portrayed himself in the Vought Studios film Dawn of the Seven but did not attend the premiere.
Powers[]
- Superhuman Speed: Mister Marathon can move at inhuman speeds. As the former speedster of The Seven, Marathon held the title of "World's Fastest Man" at some point. However, as he aged, he got slower and eventually lost his title.
- Superhuman Hearing: Mister Marathon, being a supe, has better hearing beyond that of ordinary humans, capable of hearing certain frequencies.

As a speedster, it can be assumed that Marathon has similar weaknesses to A-Train.
- Aging: As Marathon gets older, he will get slower and slower. This eventually led to him losing his title of "World's Fastest Man" alongside his position in The Seven. After that, he would retire, and A-Train would take his spot.
- Calorie Consumption: Due to his superhuman speed, Marathon needs to consume a high number of calories to have enough energy to move at such high speeds.
- Superhuman Momentum: If he is going too fast, Marathon cannot suddenly stop or change his direction.
- Blunt Force/Limited Durability: Like most supes, Marathon can still be killed with enough force.

- Mister Marathon is retired and alive in the television adaptation of The Boys, while his comic character died during the botched rescue of the 9/11 flight.
- As a super-speed hero and a predecessor to A-Train and Shockwave, Mister Marathon is likely based on Golden Age Flash, Jay Garrick. Despite this, however, his costume is much more like that of another DC Comics character Barry Allen.
- It is implied that he was kicked off the team for becoming slower.
- Mister Marathon was supposed to appear in the Season Four Finale; however, he was cut for unknown reasons.
