"Dirty Business"[]
Elijah appears at Tek Knight's estate, greeting his guests, and is later seen setting up the Tek Cave, his sex dungeon. After Tek Knight reveals to The Boys that he stroke a deal with Homelander and Sister Sage for them to use his private prisons as concentration camps, Elijah loses his patience with his master and strangles him to death with a whip, claiming that he will make the whole incident look like an accident.
Personality[]
Elijah's role as Tek Knight's butler involved handling degrading tasks, such as cleaning sexual equipment, indicating a degree of submission and acceptance of a demeaning role. Despite his loyalty and service, Tek Knight did not treat him with respect or appreciation. Elijah was accustomed to being undervalued and mistreated, and though he carried out his duties without outward complaint, he harbored a deeper resentment and the capacity for some brutal retribution, indicating a complex interplay of suppressed emotions and a potentially volatile temperament.
Elijah's darker and more assertive side is revealed when he discovers Tek Knight's involvement in a scheme to imprison innocents. His immediate and lethal reaction to this discovery shows a combination of a strong sense of justice and deeply repressed rage and resentment toward his employer.
