The Boys Series[]
Background[]
Due to having a mental illness or being mentally unstable, Cindy would be admitted to Sage Grove Center for treatment. However, she would be used as a test subject for Vought International in order to create a stabilized version of Compound V for adults, which was successful, transforming her into a Supe and granting her superhuman powers and abilities.
The Boys: Season 2[]
"The Bloody Doors Off"[]
Mother's Milk, Frenchie, and Kimiko successfully infiltrate the Sage Grove Center security room and notice Cindy sitting idly in the middle of her cell on the security cameras.
Following the confrontation between Frenchie and Lamplighter, which results in Cindy's cell door being burned down, she exits the cell and is advised to remain calm by Lamplighter, who reminds her of all the good he has done for her, even assuring Cindy that he likes her. She asks Lamplighter about his friends, but Mother's Milk informs her that they aren't his friends and even proposes that she kill Lamplighter. Cindy tells Mother's Milk that they're dressed like his friends and that she doesn't like liars; however, before they can answer, Cindy is shot in the back numerous times, then kills her attacker with her powers, giving the others time to escape. After that, Cindy utilizes her powers to destroy the other cell doors, freeing the other patients.
In a hallway, Cindy searches for an exit but is confronted with a gas canister, which she promptly destroys. Before she can discover who threw it, Stormfront arrives and electrocutes Cindy, knocking her out.
Sometime later, Cindy hitchhikes along a road, having completely escaped from Sage Grove Center.
Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman[]
During the October 2021 airing of Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman, a sketch of Cindy is displayed, and it is reported that she is wanted in connection to several violent crimes. As a result, Vought International has offered The Seven's assistance to bring her to justice, with Black Noir offering to deal with the situation as quickly and quietly as possible.
The Boys: Season 4[]
"Assassination Run"[]
Sometime after Cindy hitchhikes away from Sage Grove Center, she would be amnestied and recruited into Vought's security personnel as a deputized agent.
Cindy is seen dropping a ship in the middle of the road while Hughie Campbell and Annie January are attempting to flee the country. This causes Hughie to be abducted by Vought security personnel. Cindy attempts to kill Annie but Annie flies away before Cindy is able to use her powers.
Powers[]
- Telekinesis: Cindy possesses the ability to lift, move, control and manipulate the pressure of things with her mind, allowing her to crush objects and people with her hands, as well as basic telekinetic abilities. She is able to crush metal doors and cause people to implode. She was able to lift a whole ship to stop Hughie and Annie on the road.
- Superhuman Strength: Cindy possesses superhuman strength, which makes her stronger than humans. The full extent of Cindy's strength is unknown.
- Superhuman Durability: Cindy possesses superhuman durability, making her more durable than humans and some Supes. She can endure gunshots and Stormfront's electricity, remaining completely unharmed afterward.
- Superhuman Hearing: Cindy possesses superhuman hearing, allowing her to hear better than humans. Like all Supes, she can hear higher frequencies that humans cannot.[1]
Weaknesses[]
Biological[]
- Brute Force/Limited Durability: Despite being more durable than humans, Cindy can still be stunned, knocked unconscious, and killed by extreme force. Stormfront electrocuted her without effort.
- Hand Usage Required: Similar to Crimson Countess and Kenji, Cindy is required to clench her hands in order to properly activate her powers, so if her hands are restricted or broken she is rendered powerless.
- High Frequencies: Due to being a Supe, Cindy is susceptible to high frequencies. When a high frequency is playing, it can induce immense pain and temporarily neutralize her.
Trivia[]
- Cindy was originally believed by the fandom to be the shows adaptation of Silver Kincaid of the G-Men from the comics, due to possessing a similar name, hairstyle and powers. However, this theory was debunked in Season Three.
- Her appearance makes her a possible parody of Eleven from the Netflix series Stranger Things.
