All Content Gurus are telling you to produce short-form content to scale quickly, so you can explode your reach, and grow the number of followers, before you finally do a blockbuster launch for your product.
While all this is great, at the same time, a promotional video company can be your best ally in capturing audience attention quickly and effectively.

Terminator RPG Talk: For We Are Many
One year.
One fuckin' year.
That’s how long it took for things to go to hell after we thought we were done beatin' them machines.
After somethin' like that? Man, if you hadn’t already, you sure stopped believin' there's anyone up there watchin' out for us. Laughin' at us, if anything. But sure as shootin' not givin' a hoot.
I was there back in '41, in Thunder Mountain, you know? I was there when the Bear radioed everyone and announced that Skynet was, once again, dead.
I hear that the shindigs back in '29 lasted the whole night, but no one had the time or the energy to celebrate this time. Skynet had blasted the Phoenix colony outta existence. Well, not Skynet: the brainiacs called it Skynet 2.0, a new version of the old pain in the ass. Some h…

Terminator RPG Talk: The Future Shock Era
(This is the first of what's hopefully going to be a series of posts detailing ideas, concepts, and rants regarding The Terminator RPG. Feel free to share, discuss, etc.)
Do I have a soft spot for Bethesda's The Terminator: Future Shock! I don't even care that it started Todd Howard's career (my gamer friends tell me that's bad.) I have nothing but good memories of this game. My best friends and I clumsily ripped the intro cinematic and used it for a high school project. We would skip school to go play the game, taking turns every time one of us died horribly. It was one of those games, you know.
Speaking of games, I've been a Game Master pretty consistently for 35 years. I've run long campaigns for Dungeons & Dragons, Star Wars, Mutants & Ma…
Things to like in the Post-Cameron Terminator films
The first two Terminator movies, especially the first one, are the only ones I consider to be great films. But also I'm very done with this thing called online discourse. I really, really don't care how this or that movie ruined your life. I mean it. I don't need that bile in my life.
I also believe in leading by example, so my first wikiblog in the Terminator Wiki will be a series of bullet points about what I liked from the other films.
Okay? Okay.
- 1 Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
- 2 Terminator Salvation
- 3 Terminator Genisys
- 4 Terminator: Dark Fate
- 5 Bonus: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
- The first five minutes or so, until John crashes his bike, are very good.
- The T-X was really cool, honestly. A scary villain, up there with the T-1000.
- The cra…
Terminator RPG
So the The Terminator RPG from Nightfall Games nits together a lot of lore, mainly focusing on the Original movie and the Dark Horse Comics series, finding a way to include all of the comics by bending the timelines of the events and ignoring any inconsistencies. The RPG and especially the The Terminator RPG Campaign Book introduces scenarios inspired by a lot of the comics but with subtle (or not so subtle) changes to make them fit within a semi-cohesive timeline. One particular thing is how they can include the original story-run that finished with The Terminator: Endgame with a drastically altered timeline, the RPG ignores the birth of Jane Connor, states that Mary Randall's team disappeared from the timeline, and then links in with the…

Fandom update on Featured Video
Hello everyone!
I'm here with another update from Fandom. This one is regarding what is going on with the Featured Video area.
They are going to be making some experiments in order to find out what is best for that area, one of which is The Loop, a mini-show produced by Fandom that talks about content based on the vertical that the topic is about (for this wiki, it would be related with TV and movies). For more information, you may visit the blog post about it.
(If you are a newcomer to Fandom wikis and don't know exactly what I'm talking about - Featured Video is a video that appears above the content area of articles. Earlier this year, some changes happened so that logged-in users don't see these videos by default, but unidentified users can…
Global Taxonomy (Fandom project)
Hello everyone! And before I say anything else, kudos for everyone for all the edits around here lately. Things are looking really great since the arrival of Terminator: Dark Fate and Terminator: Resistance (I really need to get my hands on that game!)
I'm here to share some news from Fandom regarding a project that affects wikis such as Terminator Wiki - it is called the Global Taxonomy. You can find more information by going to the original blog (which I will link below). But just to summarize it: Fandom has been working to make sure that the pages of content across multiple wikis become better connected based on the relevancy one page has to another. This should lead to more relevant links in the areas that recommend other links of interest…
REV-1200
no one is quite sure when they were created. some think they were a SKYNET prototype. we only know that the first time they were released into a fight, they were from LEGION, and so, they seriously changed the fight from resistance to survival. again. in form they resemble a REV-800/900, in that they have the ability to have sentient metal and a hardframe. but that's where it ends. when in a fight, they can also form nearly anything, but they have this limit: they must sample the entirety of the item in order to make it. early models would use this to infiltrate the base and begin training, then once they'd got a good amount of non-explosive weaponry sampled, they'd disappear. few weeks after the first one did, the REV's started using thos…

Fandom is conducting a small SEO test
Hello everyone!
First of all - I'm Playsonic2, a Fandom Wiki Manager assigned to Terminator Wiki. I'm someone who can be of assistance to administrators and the community and serve as a liaison with Fandom staff if required. I'm NOT an administrator, nor am I taking the place of one.
This blog entry is to let you know that Fandom is planning to run a test in a few communities which aims at improving the search engine ranking for wikis. Terminator Wiki is one of those selected for this.
The test is about automatically redirecting anonymous users who land on file pages to the first article page that the file is used on. The idea is to see if anonymous users (who usually tend to be clueless about wikis) are able to reach the content they desire to…
Wiki Adoption
Hello, community!
Currently, there are no active bureaucrats, which makes the wiki eligible for adoption. TX55 is our most recently active admin, whose most recent activity was about 60 days ago. Looking at TX55's editing history, I think they would make a good bureaucrat and they are the logical choice, but they are inactive by wiki standards and have been unresponsive to contact on their talk page.
So I am submitting a request to adopt this wiki. As an admin, I intend to do the following:
- Update the layout - Genisys was several years ago, and Dark Fate is coming out this year, so an update would be nice.
- Create a wiki wordmark
- CSS code to make the portable infoboxes look better and match the layout
- Promote dedicated and knowledgable editors to…
Jane Granger
Jane Granger is the name of the hypothetical original timeline’s version of John Connor, born to Mr John Granger and Mrs Sarah Granger (nee. Connor). She was un-born when the timeline was changed and replaced with John Connor.
John Granger
John Granger is the name of the hypothetical original husband of Sarah Connor, then being named Sarah Granger, and the original father of John Connor (in that timeline, is a girl named Jane Granger).
Not much is known is known about Granger, since we are in the alternate timeline where Kyle Reese gets Sarah pregnant with John.
Kyle Reese = the real John Conner
Kyle Reese = the real John Conner
Just to be clear: He becomes John Connor after he goes back in time
Again and again he allows the robot to chase Sarah while he feigns injury so he can fall back and attack it in the rear. In the same way he allows skynet to think John Conner is his son so he can feign death and sneak up and attack from the rear
How did Reese lift that car off himself?
Tell me about my son.
He's about my height.
He has your eyes.
What's he like?
you trust him. He's got a strength.
Whatever made him strong and made it possible for him to travel backwards through time also caused him to stop aging. Therefore he is able at a later time to pass as Sarahs full grown son.
I like Terminator franchise
All movies are good, no exception. But I noticed that some actors were too old to play certain characters. For me Linda Hamilton was too old to play Sarah. Sarah is supposed to be only 19 during the first movie.
A Major Problem With The First Terminator Movie..
The Terminator movies are great everyone can agree on that but I have just one problem with the original Terminator movie. Kyle Reese was sent back in time to stop the T-800 from killing Sarah Connor but it turns out Kyle Reese gets "Freaky" with Sarah Connor and then She gets pregnant with John Connor. The Problem is if the T-800 didn't go back in time then John Connor would never have been born
So It's sort of a paradox
T-800 Goes back in time to kill Sarah Connor to stop John Connor from being born
Kyle Reese Goes Back in time to stop the T-800 but ends up fathering John Connor
So If they ended up knowing Kyle Reese was John Connor's father why didn't they send another Terminator to stop the T-800 or something like that?
T-13000
The T-13000 or Jacob is a new type of terminator.
The T-13000 is a terminator that can posses the abilities of a T-800, T-1000, and a TX but has a T-800 body underneath the skin. This terminator was built by the Connor family. The machine calls himself Jacob as a nickname as well as giving himself the last name Connor.
The Future Plotline of Terminator Genisys Trilogy - Part 1
The Future Plotline of Terminator Genisys Trilogy - Part 1
This starts with two Machines being sent from the Future before Skynet sends it's T-800 to kill Sarah and The Human Resistance sends Kyle to protect her. The two Machines sent were Pops (T-800) and the T-1000. For more info on Timelines of Genisys, watch this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFJKy8WfFa0
Pops was sent by Human Resistance and T-1000 was sent by Skynet is assumed. But here are were some suspicious points come out :-
1 - Why are the identities of who sent Pops unknown ? If it was the Human Resistance led by John were the ones who sent him what could they gain by hiding this info when Skynet already knew they would do so ?
2- How was Pops able to merge with mimetic P…

T-800s from the genisys timeline are very similar to their skynet made counterparts but with a few differences, firstly, their overall design is slightly different being almost more streamlined in places with added plates on the hands, and the leg and chest design being noticably different with the latter even having the Genisys logo. The eye sockets are wider and narrower, though this may be a trick of the light given that previous T-800s always had shadows darkening the eye sockets, therefor masking any details that has now been seen in the genisys model. The jawline is more angular and there seems to more wiring in the waist area as well as the hips being more pointed and …
Trying to understand the timelines
Terminator 1, 2, and 3 are direct sequels to each other, with Sarah Connor Chronicles, Salvation and Genisys being alternate possible futures.
In Terminator 1, Skynet was created and tried to destroy the humans, but John Connor taught the humans how to fight. Then, Skynet sent T-800 to kill Sarah, and John sent Kyle Reese to protect her. They destroyed the T-800, but his arm and chip were intact.
In Terminator 2, Miles Dyson used the T-800 arm and chip to create Skynet earlier than expected in 1997, and Skynet sent T-1000 to 1995 to kill John Connor, but John of the future reprogrammed a T-800 to protect his past self. Sarah and Miles destroy the Cyberdyne Building, stopping Skynet from being created and stopping the Judgement Day in 1997. T…
My Thoughts on Terminator Genisys
where do i even begin on what was wrong with it? first of all the whole series built up John Connor to be the hero of the resistance and suddenly BAM! he's the villain. am i the only one who thought that was stupid? also why didn't skynet turn people into terminators all along? they did it in salvation so i don't want to hear anyone say skynet just figured it out recently. it is just a result of awful writing.

Sonee Frequency
The Sonee Frequency was a radio signal used by the Resistance Terminator Salvation. It's purpose was to calm down machines and it lead the the Resistance's salvation and the destruction of machines.
It was created by Dr. Jade Hansen in 2009 and was used by John Connor in 2018 as an experiment on a Hydrobot. Later John and Barnes went to test it on a Hunter-Killer by attracting it with an explosion.
- In the comic adaptation, The Sonee Frequency was not effective to the T-800, T-1000 and the T-X.
- Some rumors say that the Sonee Frequency was used as Skynet's way of blinding the Resistance with ultrasonic waves.
- In Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (film), the T-101 (Terminator 2) mentions the Sonee Frequency as being the salvation and future dest…
Dr. Jade Hansen
Dr. Jade Hansen was an electromagneticist working for Cyberdyne Systems untill 2009. In 2009, she joined the resistance and soon became best friends with Kate Connor and Blair Williams. She has been working for nine years on finding a way to destroy Skynet and finally she succeeded with the Sonee Frequency tested on a hydrobot. She was shocked when she saw what Serena Kogan has done to Marcus Wright. She died in Skynet Central during the nuclear explosion.
- Dr. Hansen was portrayed as a minor character in Terminator Salvation but she was the one that found out a way to destroy Skynet for good.
- In the comic adaptation, Jade was the head of Robotics at Cyberdyne Systems.
- It is revealled that Jade was close friends with Serena Kogan.

Time travel recursion theory
Recursion model of time travel is an alternate way to understand or explain the events in the Terminator franchise regarding time travel. The two major schools of thought to explain time travel in Terminator franchise are
- Predestination paradoxes occur, where something happens in history which could not occur without involvement from the future, and this past event lead to the event in the future that caused the past event to occur. The primary example of this in Terminator movie, John Connor exists in the future, and sends Kyle Reese back into the past, in order to become his father.
- The second theory is divergent timelines and alternate futures, where the idea is that all stories are interacting at once and can continue to change the pas…
