Survivor 2019 is the fourth season of Survivor (Germany) and the first of the VOX incarnation.

Lara Grünfeld defeated Stefan Graf in a 5-2 jury vote to become the Sole Survivor.

Twists/Changes[]

Individual Reward Challenge: Soon after arriving on Day 1, the castaways competed in an individual Reward Challenge for a clue to the location of a Hidden Immunity Idol.
Hidden Immunity Idol: Hidden Immunity Idols cancel any votes cast against a player at Tribal Council. They must be played after the votes have been cast, but prior to the votes being read.
Tribe Switch: On Day 11, with 15 castaways remaining, a tribe switch occurred. There were only 14 new buffs in the basket, which were packaged and drawn at random, leaving one of the castaways without a new buff.
Ambassadors: Just before the merge on Day 20, one ambassador from each tribe had to agree to vote a castaway out of their choosing. If they didn't come to a consensus, the two castaways would draw rocks to determine who would be eliminated.
Losing a Vote: The castaway who comes last in the final five Immunity Challenge will lose his or her vote at Tribal Council.
Exile Island: The castaway who comes last in the final four Immunity Challenge will be sent to Exile Island and return at Tribal Council.
