Set up iCloud for Home on all your devices
You can use iCloud with Home on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and Apple TV. For an overview of what you can do with iCloud, see Manage accessories and share control of your home with iCloud. Note: Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID on each device. If you have devices where you are not signed in with your Apple ID or that have the Home feature turned off, you will not be able to manage accessories or share control of your home on those devices.
Set up iCloud for Home on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.

Do one of the following:
iOS 16, iPadOS 16, or later: Tap Show All, then turn on Home.
iOS 15, iPadOS 15 or earlier: Turn on Home.
You can now add HomeKit accessories in Home.
You can control your accessories from your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch if they are on the same Wi-Fi network. If you want to control accessories remotely, set up a home hub. See the Apple Support article Set up your HomePod, HomePod mini, Apple TV or iPad as a home hub.

Set up iCloud for Home on your Mac
On your Mac, do one of the following:
macOS 13.3 or later: Choose Apple menu > System Settings, click [your name] at the top of the sidebar, then click iCloud. Below Apps Using iCloud, click Show All or Show More Apps, then turn on Home.
macOS 13 to 13.2: Choose Apple menu > System Settings, click [your name] at the top of the sidebar, click iCloud, then turn on Home.
macOS 12 or earlier: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Apple ID, click iCloud, then select Home.
You can now control accessories from your Mac if they are on the same Wi-Fi network. If you want to control your accessories remotely, set up a home hub. See the Apple Support article Set up your HomePod, HomePod mini, Apple TV or iPad as a home hub.

Set up iCloud for Home on your Apple TV
On your Apple TV, open the Settings app.
Choose Users and Accounts, select your account, choose iCloud, then make sure you are signed in with your Apple ID.
You can now activate HomeKit accessories and run scenes that you have set up in the Home app on your other devices.
To use HomeKit accessories on Apple TV, open Control Centre, then select the HomeKit button.
