The Rise of Skywalker Adaptation 1 is the first issue of the 2025 comic miniseries Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Adaptation, an adaptation of the film of the same name. The issue was written by Jody Houser, illustrated by Will Sliney and Guru-eFX, and published by Marvel Comics on February 26, 2025.

Development[]

The issue was originally solicited for June 3, 2020 but, on April 1, 2020, Marvel Comics was forced to stall their publishing line due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] Eventually, Marvel announced they would resume their publishing line on May 27, 2020, but did not announce a new release date for the issue.[4]

However, on November 20, 2024, Marvel announced that the series would be revived and finally published starting on February 26, 2025.[1]
