Data fields

  • image – Put a link to a clear, preferably forward facing image of the ship.
  • name – Put the name of the ship. Use italics for proper names, but not for conjectural names.
  • designer – Identify the designer of the vessel (unique or one-off ships only).
  • manufacturer – Identify the manufacturer of the vessel.
  • line – Put the product line or series the ship's model belongs to. For example, the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer is of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer line.
  • model – Put the full name of the vessel's model (usually ends with "-class"). For example, the Relentless is an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer.
  • type – List the primary type classification of the ship's model. For example, the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer is of the Star Destroyer type.
  • cost – Put how much the ship cost.
  • modifier – List (with bullets, if multiple) the people/organizations who have modified the ship.
  • sysmods – List (with bullets, if multiple) the systems known to be modified.
  • length – Length of the ship.
  • width – Width of the ship.
  • height – Height of the ship.
  • mass – Mass of the ship.
  • max accel – Maximum acceleration in "g".
  • mglt – Maximum speed in MGLT.
  • max speed – Maximum atmospheric speed.
  • maneuverability – Maneuverability rating.
  • engine – Type and number of sublight and atmospheric drive systems.
  • hyperdrive – If the ship had a hyperdrive system ("Equipped" or "None"). Use only if the type or range is not known.
  • hdrange – The range of the ship's hyperdrive. For example, "Class 2".
  • hdsystem – The full name of the ship's hyperdrvie system.
  • poweroutput – Power output in watts.
  • power – Types of power systems.
  • shield gen – Type of shield generators (with rating if known).
  • hull – Type of hull materials (with rating if known).
  • sensor – Types of sensor systems.
  • target – Types of targeting systems.
  • navigation – Navigation computer systems.
  • avionics – Avionics/flight control systems.
  • maincomp – Main computer system.
  • countermeasures – Passive offensive or defensive systems such as ECM and stealth systems.
  • armament – List of weaponry equipped.
  • complement – Number and type of support craft carried aboard.
  • bays – Number of docking bays or hangars.
  • escapepods – Number and type of escape pods.
  • crew – Number of crew (with crew breakdown if known).
  • skeleton – Minimum crew required for operation.
  • passengers – Number and type of passengers carried.
  • capacity – Cargo capacity in metric tonnes.
  • cargohandling – Number and type of systems for handling cargo.
  • consumables – Duration of consumable goods stored aboard.
  • lifesupport – Type of life-support systems.
  • communications – Communications equipment.
  • othersystems – Any systems not already listed in a specific parameter.
  • availability – The availability of purchase of the ship.
  • role – Duties the ship is known to have performed. For example, command ship.
  • commission – The date of the ship's commission.
  • destroyed – The date of the ship's destruction.
  • retired – The date of the ship's retirement.
  • battles – List battles and events in which the ship is known to have been involved in, in chronological order.
  • affiliation – List governments and/or major organizations who owned or controlled the ship.
  • navy – The navies who owned or controlled the ship.
  • fleet – The fleets owned or controlled the ship.
  • owners – If ship is privately owned, list the owners here in chronological order.
  • captains – List the ship's known commanding officers here in chronological order.
  • namedcrew – List notable crew members in alphabetical order.
  • registry – Relevant IDs used by the ship.
  • aliases – Any alternate names used by the ship.
