Price[]
I have a question purely hypothetical of course, but what do you think the price range is for one of these things. I put this question on a few pages all ready so just to let everyone know that I'm not spamming or anything like that. 216.26.216.168 15:34, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- Anything regarding price at this point is pure fanon. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20:06, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Thank you jSarek and Grand Admiral J. Nebulax for answering my questions, since some of of my questions concerning the price of of some of the vehicles have no canon answers, maybe some of you can speculate about the prices or provide your own personal answers, and would anyone happen to know the prices of the WESTAR-34 and the WESTAR-M5, and maybe someone can answer my question about CC-1004 Gree's visor colour. I'm going to put this on a few other talk pages in case this is not seen on this one. 216.211.51.199 02:34, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
TX-130 Versions[]
I think there's a bit of a disagreement between sources here as the Databank entry says the TX-130T (along with the TX-130S) was used in the Clone Wars, while I believed this was the Imperial variant only. I'd be fine if there's no source contradicting it, in which case it's more than likely that the TX-130T is the variant seen in the Battlefront games (i.e. with a beam cannon, no shields, and really slow) as opposed to the TX-130S seen in the Clone Wars video game (shields, fast as heck, no top turret). Also, I believe that the 'S' in TX-130S is for 'Solo', meaning this was the Jedi-piloted version only, but is there a source for this? It would be a shame if I was right but it was on the LucasArts Clone Wars Website, given they took it down some time ago(stupid if you ask me, but oh well). CommanderJB 06:56, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
THX 1138?[]
The very name of this vehicle is likely to be a reference to an early movie Mr. Lucas directed that we all know of, should that be noted in the "behind the scenes" section of the article?Wilhelm screamer 19:09, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Wilhelm screamer
TX-130 or TX-130S?[]
Should this vehicle's designation be suffixed with an 'S' in this article's title? -Kev-La Ttolya 12:44, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Revenge of the Sith novel[]
Where is it mentioned in the book? (pagenumber) I've read it a few times now, I don't even think the word 'tank' is in the book.--Round Robin 05:27, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Passengers?[]
Er, in addition to the two or three crew members, where would passengers sit? Ryo626 11:37, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
Missile Rounds[]
In the article you have the Tank having concussion missiles, but in the stats beneath the picture you have the tank as having thermal missiles. Just a question as to which the tank has, Concussion or Thermal? —Unsigned comment by 67.252.62.122 (talk • contribs).
First appearance?[]
The article states that Boba Fett: Crossfire is the tank's first appearance, but the dates seem to suggest that Star Wars The Clone Wars game released first. Why is that? YoshiSuperDragon (talk) 15:50, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
Dimensions, Size[]
I think the indicated width of 3,05 meters is an error. Every portrayal of the tank i have come across contradicts it. The length of 8,2 meters shared unanimously in descriptions of the tank and can also be found in "primary" sources like the Battlefront II (2005) playthrough guide. Any visuals portray the TX-130 as being a bit longer than wide - but by a much smaller margin than the 8 meters to 3 meters difference. So what would be the realistic width? The numbers (8,2 and 3,05) would have us believe that the tank is almost 3x as long as it is wide. However, the visuals suggest more like a 1,5x case. (Or instead of a width that is about 1/3 of the length, it is very close to being 2/3 the length) From a length of 8,2 meters we would then get a width of 5,33 meters. Is there an interpretation of the 3,05 meters to remain correct? Could it refer only to the cockpit-area, not the "flaps/wings"? Between the TX-130T and the TX-130S, there is no variation in the width (at least not this significant). What about the height? The 2 meters heigth seems appropriate. Sadly i could not find any hard data for this. The article has the (source?) next to both the width and height. While the length of 8,2m is backed up backed up and usually used as the "size" of the tank (withouth further dimensions) i could find no more information on the length and width. The database on Starwars.com does not include the TX-130 So what do you think of this? Does anyone have a backup from an old database entry of this tank that was deleted since then? Is there some error in my thoughts? Please let me know!
Tl;dr I believe that the width of the TX-130 of 3,2 meters is wrong and estimate that it is closer to 5,3 meters —Unsigned comment by 138.246.3.70 (talk • contribs).
- The 3.05 meters information was unsourced anyway so went ahead and removed it. If another width is found to have a reliable source we can add that instead, but we're unfortunately unable to use logic-based estimates, so it'll remain blank for now if there's not another source that has it outright.—spookywillowwtalk 06:24, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
