A Space Singer was the term given to Shashay astrogators. Their avian brains were able to navigate the intricacies of hyperspace due to their in-built knowledge of three-dimensional flight. During the Galactic Civil War, many Space Singers worked as astrogators aboard Alliance to Restore the Republic starships.
