Josh Rimes is a member of Lucasfilm Ltd., serving in his current role as Vice President, Animation Development and Production. Rimes joined Lucasfilm in December 2015 as a Creative Executive within the Lucasfilm Story Group, concurrently serving as a development executive for Star Wars Rebels and LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, and associate producer for Star Wars Forces of Destiny and The Freemaker Adventures until March 2018.[1]
In April, Rimes transitioned to Director, Animation Development and was the associate producer and co-producer for Star Wars Resistance Season One and Star Wars Resistance Season Two, respectively. Additionally, Rimes was the developer and a producer of LEGO Star Wars: All-Stars, a producer of Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures, an associate producer for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the developer and executive producer of The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, a producer of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and finally an executive producer of Star Wars: Visions. In December 2021, Rimes transitioned to his current role as Vice President, Animation Development and Production.[1] He was an executive producer for the Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures animated series.[2]
