- "The Jedi Council requests I perform a daunting task….to revise the Order's historical records in light of new revelations about the formation of the Sith Empire. Specifically, I'm to trace the conflict between the Empire and the Republic, the Sith and the Jedi, to uncover the roots of the struggle which now plagues us."
- ―Gnost-Dural
In the years following the Treaty of Coruscant, Kel Dor Jedi Master Gnost-Dural, the keeper of the Jedi Archives, created a series of video logs at the behest of the Jedi Council. Gnost-Dural was asked by the Council to trace the conflict between the Sith and the Jedi Order to shed some light on the origins of the war between the resurgent Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. The Kel Dor recorded his findings in these logs, which could be accessed from the Jedi Archives. Gnost-Dural created nineteen recordings, dating from as far back as the first recorded discovery of the Force on Tython, up to the Treaty of Coruscant itself.
