The energy collector core was a structure used by the InterGalactic Banking Clan to power the droid factories stationed on Mygeeto. The core was powered by an energy crystal.
During the Battle of Mygeeto of the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion destroyed the core and collected a sample of its crystal, which would later power the superlaser of the Hammertong project.
