- "Missiles active commander!"
- ―Anti-Air Clone Trooper
The clone heavy assault troopers, also known as clone heavy troopers and anti-air clone troopers were heavy weapons specialists in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars.
Description[]

Clone anti-air troopers on standby.
The clone heavy assault troopers were the heavy weapon specialist specialized in using mobile emplacement weapons.[8] Clone heavy troopers often carried Merr-Sonn PLX-1 portable missile launchers, DC-15S, V-1 thermal detonators, HX2 antipersonnel mines and other ARC trooper equipment. The heavy troopers handled the anti-vehicle, anti-airborne, and anti-armor duties of the Grand Army of the Republic. The units were not as resilient as AT-TEs or LAATs but offered ground units some protection against vehicles and air attacks.[5] A similar unit was the clone heavy gunner.[9]
Some Commanders, such as Commander Bacara, were equipped with clone heavy trooper armor such as the cheek plating, and Kamas.[5]
History[]
Early during the Clone Wars, anti-air clone troopers fought alongside General Echuu Shen-Jon during the Decimator campaign.[7]
Captain Four-Nine commanded a heavy assault trooper platoon during the Battle of Haruun Kal.[8]
Later, clone heavy trooper of the 501st Legion fought on Mygeeto, Felucia, Kashyyyk, Utapau and during Operation: Knightfall. The clone heavy trooper eventually became the heavy weapon specialists of the Imperial shock troopers.[5]
Behind the scenes[]
In Star Wars: Battlefront II, the clone soldiers called "heavy troopers" wore a white version of that of Clone Commander Bacara of the Galactic Marines.[5]
