During the New Sith Wars, well before the Light and Darkness War that ended the conflict, a battle occurred on the planet Almas. A Jedi force drove the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Rivan from his fortress on Almas—although the fortress was only partially destroyed. The Jedi logged the system and christened it Cularin, but it was soon forgotten until its rediscovery in 232 BBY.^[2]
