Publisher's summary[]

Blast off into hyperspace with these 11 action-packed Star Wars tales! Jedi Master Yoda has a lightsaber showdown with the dreaded Count Dooku; Luke Skywalker and the Rebels race against time to destroy the Death Star; and the brave but lonely Rey makes a new friend when she meets the astromech droid BB-8. Each of these stories is the ideal length for reading aloud in five minutes — perfect for galactic adventures at lightspeed.[5]

Description[]

5-Minute Star Wars Stories is a collection of 11 tales spanning every film from the Star Wars saga in existence at the time the book was published, from Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace to Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. All are retellings of events from the films. While some were created for the volume, others were originally released individually as World of Reading titles. The new versions feature more complex language than their original counterparts, as well as direct quotations from the films.[1]
