      • Fixation: type by original designation (also monotypic).
  • Etymology: Greek ξενος xenos "stranger"; μυσταξ mustax, μυστακος mustakos "moustache", from μασταξ mastax, μαστακος mastakos "jaws, mouth", from μασαομαι masaomai "to chew".
