- Holotype: MNK 3628, adult ♂, skin and skull, liver tissue preserved in ethanol.
- Type locality: “Bolivia: Departamento de Santa Cruz, Provincia Velasco, Parque Nacional Noel Kempff Mercado, El Refugio Huanchaca, an outpost with a few buildings and an airstrip on private property, but within the park (14°42.553′S, 061°2.034′W [WGS 84]; elev. 170 m)”.
