Holotype: MZUSP 14596. Paratypes: BMNH 1980.1.22.2 (1), SAIAB [formerly RUSI] 985 (1), SMF 15678 (1).
Type locality: Steep rock face with crevices, southwestern side of Belmonte Islet, St Paul's Rocks, mid-Atlantic Ridge, 0°55'N, 29°21'W.
