He stuffs a flannel shirt into the gas tanks and takes a lighter to the shirt, setting it on fire. As they are walking away, Leon tells Fatback they need to split up and lay low. Fatback doesn't like the idea but Leon notes that he killed a child after mistaking her for Skully, and they can't return to the Projects. He then hands Fatback some cash. They turn around to see the car still intact with the flame going. Fatback starts to believe the gas tank bombing trick didn't work until the car explodes. Upon seeing the explosion, Leon and Fatback bolt.
Khadijah[]
At the hospital morgue, Khadijah is being questioned by a deputy about the shooting that left her daughter and 5 gang members dead. Khadijah couldn't concentrate on answering knowing she lost her only child. Skully then charges in demanding to know where Tianna is. He then starts checking stretchers consisting of cadavers of other victims and the deputy begins to radio for assistance. Skully finally comes across Tianna's cadaver and cries frantically over her. A security guard approaches Skully, informing him that he is trespassing and Skully snaps at him. He then approaches Khadijah, falls to his knees, and cries hysterically. Khadijah holds on to him tight.
Leon[]
Leon is still running, and about to exit an alleyway when a patrol car flies past him blaring his sirens. Leon reacts but the patrol car wasn't looking for him. He then arrives at his mother's home and starts looking around in room near the back door. Marla then appears and tells Leon that whatever he mixed himself up in, he shouldn't be bringing it into her household. Leon asks for the shovel and Marla tells him that he can go digging but won't find anything. Leon snaps and tells her 20 grand was buried in the backyard. Marla then breaks it to him that the money buried back there was gone. Leon then loses it, stating that the money was for emergencies. Marla then tells Leon about the emergencies with her 2 daughters medical issues, and states Leon hasn't been around for them. Leon then reminds Marla that he is the only reason she is living in that house. Marla then shows Leon some tough love, but hands him some cash, and gives him her sweatshirt. Leon then takes off.
Khadijah[]
Khadijah is outside the hospital with a cigarette in her hand, still mourning the loss of her daughter. Manboy then appears to check on his sister. Khadijah then asks him to leave before Skully spots him. Manboy then tells his sister he'll leave as soon as he knows who killed his niece. Khadijah refuses to respond and Manboy takes a seat, admitting he was a little hard on her at times, and how he was trying to raise the 3 of them. Khadijah points out how he shot up her house and Manboy argues he shot up the parking lot, knowing she wasn't there and reminds her they are still family. Khadijah refused to let her brother use her daughters death to off scotch free from any past sins with her. Drew, however, admits he wasn't perfect. Khadijah then asks Manboy that if he knew Tianna so much, then what was her middle name, and Manboy, instead of answering, makes an excuse about showing up too early and his sister not thinking straight. As Manboy prepares to walk away, he turns around and answers it as 'Shante' and admits he didn't really know his niece. Manboy then offers to help her make the person responsible feel the same pain she felt when her daughter was taken from her.
Leon[]
Leon is laying low under the overpass where some homeless folks are encamped. A hobo is talking about the cold, and spots Leon, asking if he is freezing, noting the sweatshirt Leon is wearing and decides to head to the shelter. Leon then hears more police sirens going off and decides to leave the area.
Franklin[]
At Louie's, Franklin informs both Jerome and Louie that Peaches needs to be brought back into the fold, now that Lurp has decided to leave the Family, noting it was a bad time to lose good muscle. Louie even suggested delaying the Little Rock trip if necessary. Renny then appears, letting Franklin know Manboy and his Crips have arrived. Manboy informs Franklin that his 5-year-old niece was murdered, and even though he and Khadijah aren't close, but such a tragedy brought him close to her. He then pointed out how Khadijah was there when her daughter was killed and is still covered in her blood. Manboy then tells Franklin that Khadijah identified the shooter as Leon Simmons. Drew then points out that anytime someone from his crew messed up, he would make things right and reminded Franklin how he sold out Tyrell to his crew, expecting the same kind of courtesy. Manboy then takes off with his boys. Later on in the office, Franklin has to decide what to do about Leon especially with the ultimatum Manboy presented him. Franklin realizes they need to know what the police know, for they won't stop until someone is in custody, especially for the murder of a 5-year-old girl. Louie points out that they tried everything with Leon and states they can't everyone from themselves, and Franklin makes it clear it was their screw-up with Manboy and Skully. Louie then makes it clear that Leon should have fell in line instead of going off to his own thing, and what happened with the drive-by fight is Leon's problem, and Franklin makes it clear that Manboy made it their problem. Jerome then tells Franklin they have 2 option, first one is to protect Leon and go to war, or give up Leon and prevent a war. Louie then points out they do not have the strength to face both the Crips and the Bloods, stating it would be wise to hand Leon over to Manboy. Franklin then clarifies he has to find him first.
Xiamara[]
Xiamara is in bed for the night and hears someone outside her bedroom. Assuming a home invasion, she calls 911 to report a break-in. Afterwards, she grabs her baseball bat and instead of a home invader, she sees Gustavo camping out with Ernesto, Cedro, and Carlo. Xiamara flips out and Oso, after being startled in believing her home was being ransacked. She then tells Ernesto to take his brothers to her bedroom for the night. She then noticed Gustavo was intoxicated and asked what happened to staying away from the boys. Oso, in his drunken rant, admitted to missing them. Completely buzzed, Oso decides to have some fun by dancing with Xiamara, who is in no mood for horseplay. The police are then knocking at the door. Xiamara then asks Oso to sit down and she answers the door. The cops inform Xiamara that they were responding to a possible break-in, and as Xiamara begins to clarify that it was a false alarm, Gustavo makes a massive drunken rant, prompting the cops to enter. As wasted as he was, Gustavo then blew up on the cops, and as one of the officers orders him to calm down, Oso attempts to ram into to the officer, only to be slammed into a wall, thrown to the ground, and handcuffed. Oso then yells out how they can't arrest him because he's CIA.
Alton[]

Joanna notices her frustration, but could tell she has something to provide the Herald, and suggested she does her job. Charlie Cass then approached Irene, telling her he just found out about Joanna being booted. Irene, of course, notes Charlie taking over the position. Charlie then states it is only temporary. Irene makes a sarcastic pun and Charlie tells her he will be addressing everyone in a few hours, requesting Irene to hang tight. Irene refuses to wait as she is prepared to present a case file to him, and Charlie points out that the publisher, Walter Brooks, is in the building as they are setting up. Irene is now questioning Charlie's leadership in the Herald. Walter then calls for Charlie and Cass introduces Irene to Walter. Irene holds up the file and Walter, assuming it was a case worth his time, calls both Irene and Charlie into the office.
Franklin[]

Khadijah[]
Khadijah and Skully are still in the hospital morgue when a lab technician rolls up in her wheelchair with a big envelop, stating they normally hold them for evidence, but figured they would want was inside which consisted on Tianna's personal items. Khadijah accepts the envelop. The technician then recommends both Khadijah and Skully to head home and get some sleep for they'll be done when they return. She then rolls off and Khadijah tells Skully they should leave, but Skully refuses to move an inch.
Franklin[]
Leon arrives to an apartment complex with Franklin while Jerome is keeping watch of the area. Leon checks out the apartment and Franklin lets him know that the last tenants moved out, so he'll still have some utilities working. He tells Leon he'll be back with some food and hands him the keys, telling him to lay low until he returns. Leon then requests a gun for protection, which Jerome obliges by handing him one. Franklin and Jerome then take off. Both Franklin and Jerome hop in the car and Jerome states that Leon seemed different, noting that killing a kid, there is no coming back from that as he starts the car.
Gustavo[]
Gustavo is released from jail after his intoxicated outburst the night before. Teddy then honks at him from his car and Oso heads to the vehicle and hops inside. Teddy then tells Gustavo that his behavior cannot happen again and Oso just tells Teddy to drive. Teddy then wanted to know if he was good since he needed to see someone about an urgent matter and Oso states he was good, so they rode off.
Skully[]
At the morgue, Skully sees his daughters cadaver being rolled to another room and flips out demanding to know where they are taking Tianna's body. The medical examiner then blocks Skully's path and explains they are preparing for an autopsy. Skully blows up, refusing to allow them to perform an autopsy on her. The medical examiner then explains that by law all murder victims are to receive autopsies. Skully then clarified that she was shot, noting the bullet holes inside her. He completely loses it as Khadijah backs Skully away from the doctor, and makes it perfectly clear he needs to let the doctors do their jobs, also noting the fact that she can't deal with this anymore and needs to change out of her blood-soaked clothes. Security shows up and Skully decides to vacate.
Teddy[]
Teddy and Gustavo are awaiting Franklin who arrives and Gustavo, still hung over, vomits on the side of the car. When Teddy asks about Lurps whereabouts, Franklin lies about giving him the day off. Franklin then tells Teddy that the day before, a 5-year-old girl was murdered in a gang shooting in Gardena and wants to know what the cops know. Teddy asked if it was one of Franklin's men that did this and Franklin, instead of answering, asks if Teddy could help him out or not. Teddy tells Franklin to give him a few hours and Franklin takes off.
Irene[]
There is a meeting at the Herald on the story of the CIA smuggling cocaine into the states with a drawing board consisting of Teddy, the players, and the victims, and Wilson is freaking out about it, knowing it would be huge and that this could be a Pulitzer prize moment for Irene, who makes it clear that she cannot do this alone and urges Walters to pull in the full resources from the Los Angeles Herald Examiners to further dive into this story. Charlie is hesitant of the idea pulling such stops, but Irene states a story like this could save the paper. Walter then clarifies to Irene she has an off-the-record source, not a story. Charlie then tells Irene that before they commit to her case, she'll need a second source. Wilson then suggested reaching out to Teddy's ex-wife, Julia, since she is CIA. Irene then clarifies the CIA won't talk nor give up operational details. She then finds an arrest file on Diego and Danilo and suggested getting intel from the Cali Cartel.
Leon[]
Leon is asleep in the apartment he is laying low at as Franklin and Jerome is sneaking up on him. He wakes up to Franklin telling Leon he's 'sorry'. Leon then pulls out his gun and pulls the trigger multiple times to Franklin's face, only for the gun to be empty. Franklin and Jerome laugh at the attempt as Franklin made it clear he wasn't dumb enough to give Leon a loaded gun after the stunt he pulled as he drew his weapon and placed the barrel in Leon's head. Leon, of course, makes it known he will not beg for his life. Franklin then pulls the trigger and Leon wakes up from the nightmare. Instead he finds Khadijah in the apartment crying over what looks like Leon's body, only to hear her cries turn into a sinister laugh as she proclaims him to be a dead man. Leon then wakes up to the sound of someone banging on a door. Instead it's Cissy, speaking to one of the tenants whose late on a payment. Cissy then approaches Leon's apartment where she is granted entry and she requests Leon to takes a seat on the floor next to the couch. Leon obliges and Cissy sits behind him where she pulls out one of her combs and begins working on his afro. Leon starts breaking into tears as Cissy begins braiding his afro into cornrows. All Leon could think about was the damage he caused Khadijah when he killed her child right in front of her, and there is even a scene of Khadijah holding onto the clothes Tianna wore when she was killed.
Gustavo[]
Teddy is back at the office and finishing up a phone conversation when Gustavo enters. Teddy ends the call and tells Gustavo that Franklin is in trouble and it's not something he could help him with. Oso then apologizes for the other night, and promises to get clean and be there, but on the terms that he gets a lot of money, one thousand for every kilo they move, and claims it's not for his greed, but to protect the people he loves. Teddy agrees and asks if there is anything else. Gustavo tells him he wants him to find Lucia. Teddy then asks if digging around the past is the only way to clean up. Oso makes it clear he just wants to know what happened and they'll be good once Teddy agrees to it.
Franklin[]
At home, Franklin is confronting Cissy about seeing Leon at the apartment and Cissy states since he was holding up in her building, she just wanted to check up on him as she is doing laundry, making her reason known that Leon is no different than Franklin, who then shows his gratitude. Cissy, of course, tells Franklin she didn't do it for him. Franklin then receives a page and tells Cissy he needs to go as he heads toward the back exit. Cissy asks what he is going to do. Franklin tells her he hasn't decided and takes off.
Skully[]
There is a knock at the door and Khadijah answers the door to see Manboy. She lets him in and Skully just flips out, assuming Manboy was there to rub it in his face and believes Manboy is smirking over his loss. Khadijah calms him down as she explains that Manboy came for a truce and to apologize, and that Skully is to accept it on her behalf. Skully lashes out at her and Manboy quickly comes to her defense. Skully then draws his gun on Manboy and Khadijah tells Skully to put the weapon away. Manboy then tells Skully killing him won't bring Tianna back, noting she was his family too. Skully remembered how Manboy told him never to have his daughter around the life they have and how the game got her killed. Manboy then attempts to convince Skully that Tianna's death is not on him.
Irene[]
Irene is at the LA County Jail where she is questioning both Diego and Danilo, who think Irene is joking to ask for information from them after they tell her they were provoked phone privileges, denied a lawyer and a court date, and the time they spent locked up. Irene is shocked to hear that and both Diego and Danilo claim to have been arrested at the airport as they were prepared to visit their sick grandmother back home. They then bad mouth America, claiming that is the kind of treatment they would have received in Colombia. Irene then tells the brothers that this was the kind of corruption she is trying to fight and promise to help get them a fair trial if they can confirm her story. Diego and Danilo seem to think she wants them to snitch for her and Irene claims it's not snitching if they are getting the guy that put them in jail. She then pulls out a file and tosses them a photo of Teddy McDonald, claiming he is the reason they're locked up and offers to get them a fair trial and take down the man that put them in jail if they agree to help her.
Franklin[]
At Louise's nightclub, Teddy gives Franklin the low down that the LAPD has Leon's prints off of a bullet they found at the crime scene, indicating they know he was there, and offers to help out in any way but reminds them that they are listed as known associates, making it clear that the Family will feel some heat bearing down on them every minute the police spend searching for Leon. Teddy then tells Franklin that even though he and Leon are close, there is just no getting around this. Franklin renders the meeting adjourned and as Teddy leaves, he snaps in frustration and whacks a bunch of items off the desk, knowing there is nothing he can do to for Leon but keep him hidden.
21 KEJQ[]
Marla is home watching the news, hearing about some hit-and-run and another anchor brings up the shooting that left Tianna and other gang members dead. She then recognizes her son along with Fatback who are now wanted for murder. At the Saint home, Cissy and Alton hear of the same story. Even Franklin, Jerome, and Louie are watching the news, knowing now both Leon and Fatback need to lay low. Louise shuts off the television and suggests to Franklin the best thing is to convince Leon that they have another hideout for him, outside LA, and should do 'what needs to be done' once Franklin can get Leon far out of town.
Skully[]
Skully is back home getting a tattoo of his daughter, Tianna, on his back shoulder blade and Manboy makes a suggestion to add some birds to the tat. Khadijah walks in and sees Skully getting some artwork done. She orders the tattoo artist out of her apartment and pulls the photo away from the artist. She sees it's her dead daughter and chastises Skully for getting a tattoo of Tianna while Leon and Fatback are still walking free on the street. Manboy tells her they're on it and Khadijah claims they're not doing anything but sitting on their butts. She makes it clear she wants Leon and Fatback dead. As she walks away, Manboy clarifies he has things in motion. Skully then throws on his shirt and jacket and tells Manboy to stay at the crib with her as he departs.
Leon[]
Leon is outside the apartment he has hidden in. He exits with his hair now braided in cornrows. He is completely exhausted and stressed from the shooting, and noticed someone watching the news about the Gardena shooting, and now he knows he and Fatback are wanted men.
Franklin[]
At the apartment complex, Franklin and Jerome arrive to collect Leon. Franklin knocks but there's no answer. He then unlocks the place to find the apartment empty and Leon nowhere in sight.
Leon[]
Knowing now he's a wanted man, Leon returns back to the Projects. He heads into his home, grabs a duffel bag, throws over a chair, rips the bottom of that chair and loads his duffel with money that was hidden in that chair. He then leaves the apartment and is immediately spotted by Skully and Cornrows. Skully exits the vehicle with a sawed off shotgun and fires into Leon's direction, who is now running. Both Skully and Cornrows are now in pursuit of Leon as they are firing their weapons at him. Leon reaches the street where Franklin and Jerome speed up to pick him up. Leon jumps in and Jerome speeds away with Skully and Cornrows continuing to fire their guns at them.
Irene[]
Back at the Herald, Irene is losing it with Charlie about how he asked for corroboration and she presented something from 2 Cali Cartel brothers who were held without due process for more than a year. Charlie then speaks and as he was making his case, Irene flips out at him for being afraid to lose his position should the paper be a flop. Charlie snaps at her, and admits that she sold him, and offers whatever resources available to take on the story. Wilson and the others are ecstatic as she sends them away. Charlie then offers a piece of advice to Irene to find a weak link, meaning someone who is willing to talk, and must be credible, indicating that getting someone like that on the record would let the puzzle pieces reveal themselves. Irene then leaves the office.
Franklin[]
Manboy and his Crip set are sitting outside Louise's nightclub and Franklin exits the place with Jerome, Louie, and Renny at his side. Manboy makes it clear to Franklin that they will not continue their business until Franklin hands Leon over to him and reminds him he now runs Compton, while Skully runs Inglewood, and Leon screwed things up royally for Franklin in the Project. Manboy then asked Franklin what else he had left after losing all that ground. Franklin reminds him that he still has the plug. Manboy then points out that even though he has the plug, he has nowhere to sell it, and all Franklin has to do is surrender Leon over to him and they can resume business. Franklin refuses and Manboy asks if Franklin is willing to go to war over Leon. Franklin then points out that unlike Manboy, he doesn't give up his own people. Manboy clarifies that he does respect Franklin for being all about business but claims he is breaking his own rules which is something he cannot respect. Manboy then clarifies their transactions with the family is done and war will happen. The Crips then hop in the car and take off down the road.
