Two Doors Down Burgers Sings Its Swan Song, Will Close on Halloween

Plus a few other restaurants that are closing up shop

After a nearly decade-long run, Two Doors Down is closing its doors. In a post on Instagram, the owners said, “The time has simply come to move on.” Its final service will be on Halloween. No cause for sadness, however. The owners wrote that this is a success story and continued to praise the neighboring businesses, its employees, landlord, and thank its customers. The LGBT and woman-owned business will have a goodbye bash on the evening of Saturday, October 26, with Buoy Beer for $5 a pint.

Ballard bakery down

Little Prague European Bakery & Deli has closed its Ballard location, MyBallard reports. Details are scarce, with the owner telling the blog it was due to an employee issue. Eater Seattle has reached out for more details and will update this post with any additional information. The location opened in August 2022.

Ethan Stowell merges pizza shops in Ballard

James Beard-recognized chef and prolific restaurateur Ethan Stowell is closing Ballard Pizza Company, and merging it with a Frelard location that will reopen at 5205 Ballard Av.e NW. A manager tells MyBallard that the decision came because the lease on the Frelard location was up and the current Ballard location needed structural repairs, so combining the two made the most sense. It’s expected to open in November.
