The Chorus team at Vox Product is made up of designers, engineers, researchers, product and project managers, plus an intrepid group of community managers who spend most of their time talking to our very smart users. Together, we build the platform that powers Vox Media’s networks, from The Verge to Eater, Vox, SB Nation, and more. Our work includes building tools for writers, editors, art directors, videographers, and their many peers to work together; powerful systems for expressive storytelling on the web, Apple News, and elsewhere; thoughtful and ethical analytics for measuring audience engagement; and much more. Chorus also powers partner networks—The Ringer, Funny Or Die, The McElroy Family, and The Chicago Sun-Times—with more to come.
The work we do is challenging, complex, and fun. Our mission is to build the best platform for digital publishing imaginable. We’ve got a great head start, but the work is never done.
Our team is remote first, with people in New York, DC, San Francisco, Denver, Austin, New Orleans, and quite a few cities in between. We get together IRL a few times a year (most recently in Philadelphia), but otherwise collaborate over Slack, video calls, email, and lots of docs. We were leaders in creating the Vox Product Code of Conduct and we practice its values every day. Our jobs are well compensated and come with excellent benefits—including flexible hours, generous paid parental leave, and trans-inclusive healthcare.
We’ve got several jobs open now, with more to come—so if you don’t see the right one for you at the moment, do check in again soon.
