- Due to the episode's length, some streaming services divided the episode into two parts.
- The ACT UP protest scene, in which activists and greiving loved ones poured the ashes or displayed the bodies of AIDS victims, is loosely based on the actual protests that happened in 1992 and 1996.[2][3]
