A young woman and newest entry to the stage of the New York City ballroom in 1982, Blanca Rodriguez tries her luck in walking a femme queen category. To the Washington Square Park, Blanca encounters the dancer Damon performing his craft for pocket change. She invites him to join her new house and shows him a part of her life in ballroom before treating him to a meal. The two conversed about their dreams and Blanca's past that led to her being disowned for her identity. Before parting, she gives Damon her number if he chooses to change his mind in living with her.
Angel, while seeking a new cilent, meets Stan Bowes, who sought her as a form of celebration for his new job at Trump Tower; the two settle in a motel room but leave themselves clothed on the bed as they spoke to one another before Angel is taken back to the Piers, sharing one kiss in his car.
The following day, Damon finds his backpack stolen; left with nowhere to go, he seeks Blanca for a home. Elsewhere, Angel is rejected from applying to Trump Tower and is pushed aside from Stan.
