The Last Person To Laugh is the sixth episode of the Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy anwa series. It was aired on 16th May, 2021 on AT-X and other channels.
Synopsis[]
Sueharu has expressed anger at his response to the entertainment agency he visited. Everyone is depressed as his way to return to the entertainment world was abandoned, but a chance was given by the plan of Shirokusa's father, who was visiting.
Plot[]
After Shun mocks Kuro for declining his offer, Sueharu drops wine on his head. Shun speaks ill of everyone, being almost assaulted by Tetsuhiko, who is controlled by Sueharu. Shun goes call the police, but someone is visiting him, and as he departs, everyone agrees say nothing happened, but Kuro disagrees lying about the wine. Who shows up is Shiro's father, who acts like a mediator to the fight. At the end Momo proposes solve it in a Commercial Contest: both Hardy Pro and Ultramarine Channel (with Soichiro's financial support) will produce two commercials, and the one the public gives more votes wins. Although Sueharu begs her, Momo will take Hardy Pro side during the competition. With Shun wins, Sueharu will work for him, but if he loses, he won't call the police or sabotage if he goes after other agencies.
The following day, the Ultramarine Alliance do their first reunion about their commercial, about a drinking trademark. Later that night, Momo remember how she and her sister ran away of they abusive parents, Eri worked hard to raise her little sister, and how Momo hated everything until she met Sueharu, who mentored her, but disappeared after abandon the showbiz. Both sisters watch together Ultramarine Channel first commercial, but it miss the point and it's more about the channel than the product. The following night they watch their second commercial, about Acid Snake's new song, and it is a success thanks Sueharu's talent.
As Ultramarine Channel wins the contest, everyone commemorates. Tetsuhiko is contacted by Soichiro, who will support their channel, and reveals he knows he is Shun's son, and by Abe, for who he reveals the entire fight and contest was planned by Kuro to get closer to Sueharu and sabotage his coming back to showbiz. As Momo announces she will now attend on the same school as them, and that her relationship with Shun was good, but she wanted to get closer to Sueharu, the latter run away from the jealous friends. After hide from them thanks to Rena's help, she asks why he is friend of Tetsuhiko, and he reveals it's because everyone approached him with ulterior motives besides him (which isn't true), but Kuro finds him. At the end, as both Sueharu and Kuro go home together, Kuro miss her appetite is "normal" again and she remembers everything, pulling a face when Sueharu realizes the amnesia story was fake.
