Tetsuhiko Kai (甲斐 哲彦, Kai Tetsuhiko) is one of the supporting characters in the Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy series.
Appearance[]
Tetsuhiko is a really good-looking guy, having a naughty boy-like cuteness, with light brown hair the colour of tea.
Personality[]
Tetsuhiko looks good, but tends to enjoy the situations that Sueharu gets in. He always stay on the side his can get some benefit.
He is also a "scumbag" when the subject is women, dating seven girl at the same time and even suggesting that Sueharu could solve his love life by making a harem.
It has been seen several times throughout the series that he has skills in manipulation and deception. He uses his skills to form the Ultramarine Alliance and often to collar Sueharu.
Background[]
Tetsuhiko has been three-timing girls, but as he was eventually caught, he became known for his "trash" behavior and hated by the girls. Every time he tries to talk to a girl from his class would result in them complaining or insulting him. Because of that he started to look for girls from other schools where he states he is even seven-timing them.
He is easily able to read Sueharu and realize his love interest and his plans for the Confession Festival.
He uses this to manipulate Sueharu and ends up making money off of the video of Sueharu that is posted online and goes viral.
Etymology[]
- The name Tetsuhiko means "philosophy, clear" (哲) (tetsu) and "boy, prince" (彦) (hiko).
- Tetsuhiko's surname Kai means "worth, avail, effect" (甲斐).
- Kai comes from Cain, a cavier of Altea in the Fire Emblem series.
