The Most Worth-It Cyber Monday Kitchen Deals, According to Our Kitchen and Dining Writer

As the kitchen and dining writer at the Strategist (and an avid cook), I spend a lot of my time finding the very best kitchen appliances, cooking tools and gadgets, serveware, barware, and dining-room décor. Many of these products are heavily discounted for Cyber Monday, the best time of the year to snag essentials (workhorse knives or dishwashing products) and to finally pull the trigger on higher-end items (like a top-of-the-line Vitamix blender and classic Le Creuset enameled pots and pans). And it’s just plain fun to shop for stellar pantry staples, too, like fancy tinned fish, tingly chili crisp, and high-quality finishing olive oil you can give as a gift.

But the sheer number of deals can be overwhelming — and we all know that decision fatigue can lead to a regretful purchase (or no purchase at all). To help you navigate the vast online world of sales, I rounded up some of the best kitchen products that are marked down right now. I prioritized items that are beloved by the chefs and recipe developers I’ve interviewed over the years, ones that have been recommended by prop stylists and top-tier hosts, and the things I depend on in my own kitchen. You’ll find selections, in alphabetical order, from some of my favorite smaller companies, like Material Kitchen and Fishwife, as well as choice picks from giant retailers like Amazon and Target.

Read on for everything I’ve curated and peruse our main Cyber Monday roundup here for deals across categories. While I’m done updating this post for the day, as of right now everything is still on sale and ready to be shopped for. And don’t forget to sign up for our newsletter to stay on top of all the latest intel, too, including on sales that go on through the week.

Alessi’s sophisticated and fun tools have made frequent appearances on this site — and its sale is nothing to sleep on. I’m eyeing the stovetop tea kettle I’ve coveted for years, the citrus peeler one cook told us “delivers an almost ASMR-level of satisfaction,” and a stylish retro-looking toaster. If you’re eyeing anything, act fast: The sale ends at 12 a.m. ET.

Amazon, of course, loves a good sale — but the massive number of discounted products it’s offering is a lot to parse through. That’s why I stuck with expert-endorsed, usually big-ticket items from reliable brands I’ve written about in the past: an ultrapowerful blender from Vitamix, our very favorite air fryer from Instant, and a crazy-good pepper grinder (yes, really) that I’ve never seen marked down before. For even more Amazon promotions across different departments, check out our dedicated post, too.

Areaware always hits the nail on the head with its playful and functional design objects, including tools and décor for the kitchen and tabletop. (Most goods would make excellent gifts, too, I think.) Take 25 percent off the whole site with code VERYMERRY25.

The holidays means lots of hosting (parties, family), which means lots of cleaning. Branch Basics makes a pro-approved, all-natural concentrated soap you dilute with water to clean everything from dishes to surfaces. It’s on sale for 20 percent off through November 27, along with the rest of the brand’s products.

Brightland’s Cyber Monday sale means it’s actually smart to stock up on the brand’s California-made olive oils, vinegars, and honey, because the more you buy, the bigger the discount. Get 20 percent off when you spend $100, 25 percent off when you spend $200, and 30 percent off when you spend $300, plus free shipping on all three tiers. The discounts last through November 27.

Crate & Barrel has marked down some top-of-the-line kitchen gear up to 30 percent. Shop from Fellow’s coffee-pro-approved gear (we love its kettle and grinder, especially), Cuisinart appliances (like the food processor many chefs told me has been a staple in their kitchen for decades), and ultrapowerful Vitamix blenders. Deals end at 12 a.m. ET.

Future you will be relieved to find the stack of Fishwife tins you loaded up on when they were all marked down 20 percent. (The sets also make a sweet gift, and you can mix and match different kinds.) And don’t forget to check out its adorable collaboration serving and utensil sets, on sale just for today.

Another pantry favorite is Fly by Jing, which is offering up to 60 percent off select products, including its tingly and deeply savory Sichuan chili crisp, spicy and numbing mala spice mix, and versatile and balanced vinaigrette. NB: If you join its Tastemaker Club, you get an additional 20 percent off.

Food52’s shop is my go-to for some of the most beautiful and useful kitchenware around, including the East Fork bowls Molly Yeh loves, an all-encompassing (but not over-the-top) kitchen-utensil set, and some sturdy, stackable bodega glasses in several sizes. It’s offering 20 percent off sitewide and 30 percent off if you spend $300 or more. Just use the code CYBER at checkout.

With the holidays in full swing, it’s a good time to make sure your bar cart is at the ready with one of our favorite nonalcoholic bitter aperitifs that’s 20 percent off right now. It’s a hosting essential that also makes a great gift to bring to parties. The rest of Ghia’s goods are up to 50 percent off, too, through November 27.

This is Great Jones’s biggest sale of the year, with up to 50 percent off all cookware until 12 a.m. ET. Shop Strategist-favorite items like its nonstick sheet pans, retro-style baking dish, and chef-recommended Dutch oven.

Hawkins New York nails elevated basics; it’s one of my own go-to shops for essential tableware and decorative pieces like candle holders, pitchers, and vases. It’s offering 20 percent off across its entire site (and free shipping on orders over $150) with code LETSGO.

Hay

Hay is offering major discounts across its whole site today, including some Strategist favorites like a colorful water jug, stackable crates for kitchen organization, and a simple coffee maker. Plus take an extra 5 percent off today with code CYBER5.

Made In is offering great discounts on much of its pro-approved cookware and tableware from now until December 3. Shop its super-durable enameled Dutch oven, my very favorite stockpot, a perfect knife set with all the essential blades, and much more for up to 50 percent off.

Material Kitchen’s nonstick skillet, whisk, recycled-plastic cutting board, and supersharp shears are all on rotation in my house — and pro cooks love its kitchen utensils and knives, too. The brand is offering 15 percent off on orders up to $100, 20 percent off orders between $100 and $299.99, and 25 percent off orders of $300 or more until November 28. Plus, the brand is donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the recently launched Lilac Glassware Collection to APEX for Youth, an organization that empowers underserved Asian and immigrant youth from low-income families in NYC.

Momofuku, whose condiments I always keep stocked in my own pantry, is having its biggest sale of the year. Some products are marked down and others aren’t, but no matter what, get $20 off when you spend $100. Not only that, but if you hit $50, you’ll get a bonus gift of its spicy, tingly chili crunch automatically added to your cart.

If you’ve been eyeing an Always Pan on Instagram, now’s the time: It’s marked down 34 percent. You’ll also find deals on many other pieces of cookware and the Wonder Oven, the brand’s first-ever appliance — while the markdown isn’t huge, it’s finally back in stock after selling out days after it first dropped.

If you’re in the market for some special country-inspired tabletop décor, look no further than the Six Bells, where everything is up to 60 percent off during its sale.

If your spices have been sitting in your cabinet for longer than a year (or two, if you’re casual about these things), it’s probably time to replace those jars with discounted ones from the Spice House. It’s offering 10 percent off orders of $50 or more, 15 percent off orders of $75 or more, and 20 percent off of orders $100 or more with the code HOLIDAY23.

Sur La Table has some truly major discounts for Cyber Monday, including up to 70 percent off Staub (who makes a Dutch oven many chefs use and my favorite baking dishes), up to 70 percent off Zwilling knives (which we also love), and up to 45 percent off All-Clad’s super-durable stainless-steel skillets and pots. Shop those discounts until 3 a.m. ET.

Like Amazon, Target has so much to offer that it can leave you feeling overwhelmed. So I sifted through and pulled the best kitchen deals. Find a classic KitchenAid stand mixer, an expert-approved toaster and coffee grinder, and much more.

Williams Sonoma’s well-rounded sale will get you big markdowns until the end of the day on appliances, cookware, cutlery, and tableware. Snag Vitamix’s immersion blender that’s just as great as their classic, an enameled cast iron skillet that’s pretty enough to go directly from oven to table, an ultra-durable air fryer, and so much more.
