GARDEN DISTRICT— Commander's Palace has revived its "White Tablecloth BBQ" five course dinner for $65 for the rest of July. Enjoy Tory McPhail's take on the flavors of summertime with dishes like red and white shrimp cocktail, sweet corn fritters and caviar, crispy pork cheeks served with BBQ bacon beans, short ribs with grilled "whiskey drunk" peaches, and a summer berry and rum-soaked cornbread trifle for dessert.
The beer pairings, with local and regional favorites, are available for an extra $20. The meat courses offer two different beers to compare, making it a fun and interesting way to test the diner's beer palate. Dinner menu only.
CBD— Gordon Biersch is holding a Brewers Dinner on Wednesday, July 27 starting at 6 p.m. Four courses - including caprese salad paired with pilsner and shrimp scampi paired with marzen - will be served for $29.99. Call (504)-301-7969 to make a reservation.
LGD— Urban South Brewing has partnered with My House New Orleans to hold a Food Truck Roundup at the brewery on the last Friday of every month starting in August, on the 26th.
