We Love Golf! is a golf game released for the Wii developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Capcom. The game features a wide variety of themed courses as well as the feature to use Miis instead of the game's existing characters as well as a multitude of Capcom-themed costumes.
Gameplay[]
The game primarily uses the Wii Remote's motion capabilities to control how the player uses the golf club. The player swings back the controller to start a swing and swings forward along with a meter to determine the power of the shot. The type of shot can be changed by rotating before swinging. The player can put topspin or backspin on the ball by holding buttons when swinging. The Wii Remote's speaker can provide a voiced guide while playing with an animated version pointing out the buttons to use.
From the main menu, the number of players can be chosen as well as the ability for players outside Japan to use Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to play online. Once selected, the player can choose the type of game they want to play. The single player can partake in tournaments which acts like a career mode across the game's various courses. The player can also do Character Matches which unlocks other characters to play as. There is also options for Training, Strokes, Near Pin Contest, Target Golf, and Ring Shot.
