Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a turn-based strategy game for the Nintendo Switch developed and published by Sega. It was released alongside the Switch version of Valkyria Chronicles.
Gameplay[]
Like the other entries in the series, Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a tactical role-playing game where the player fights in turns against an enemy. The movements and actions in the Action Mode are in real-time.
In this new entry, a new system is introduced called "Brave", and can be activated when a soldier is on the verge of death. The character then will be given various options, some will end with his death.
Plot[]
Europe is in war and the Gallia has been invaded by the Empire. Commander Claude Wallace is assigned to command the Squad E and along with his friends set out to fight in a frenzied war.
Reception[]
Valkyria Chronicles 4 received "generally favorable" reviews from critics according to Metacritic with a current Metascore of 82/100.
