Twinbellows is a recurring boss in the Kid Icarus series. It is a two-headed dog and notable for being the first boss in the original Kid Icarus for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Twinbellows is the Gatekeeper of the Underworld's Fortress and guardian of one of the Three Sacred Treasures. He stays in the bottom right-hand corner of the room, moving back and forth while spewing fireballs at Pit. The fireballs usually pass overhead, and Pit can openly attack Twinbellows when it's preparing for another attack.
Kid Icarus: Uprising[]
Twinbellows has been seen to be a boss in the new upcoming, long-awaited sequel, Kid Icarus: Uprising. Pit is seen fighting it in a huge coliseum.

"A two-headed dog (hence the name) that guards the Underworld. Medusa unleashes Twinbellows during an assault on a human city, using magic to supersize the bicephalous puppy. But, for Pit, the louder they bark, the harder they fall."
