The Croods: Prehistoric Party! is a minigame collection based on the animated film, The Croods. The game was published by D3Publisher on the Wii, Wii U, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS in 2013.
Gameplay[]
The game features 30 party-style minigames with players being able to chose from the 7 members of The Croods family. The players compete in a board game format using a dice to roll and move those amount of spaces. There are two ways to play the board; race to the finish or collecting the most shells. Winning minigames earns the winning player more shells.
Instead of a standard menu, the player navigates a hub in sort of platformer controls. The game locks up the other boards behind players the first boards with a total of 5 boards when they are unlocked.
The Wii U version can be played exclusively on the gamepad screen.

The game was received fairly poorly with most criticizing the generic minigames, low amount of content, and sometimes unresponsive controls. Metacritic gives the game a 33 and Game Rankings gives the game a 40% for the Wii U version and the other versions lower.
