Need for Speed: Most Wanted - A Criterion Game is a racing Wii U game released in March 2013. The textures have be upgraded greatly from the earlier releases on PS3 and Xbox 360.
Gameplay[]
In this game, the player plays as many different types of cars. The way that the player gets cars in this game is finding the cars that are hidden all over the city. The player can change the parts of your car to improve the car's over all performance. The game is an open-world driving game.
The main goal of the game is to become the most wanted person in the city. The main ways of increasing the player's wanted level is to complete various racing challenges like time, trials, escaping the police or elimination races. The player can attract Police attention both during and outside races. To lose the police, the player can drive away far enough and eventually lose them or go get a paint job change or swap cars.
Wii U Specific Features[]
The Wii U version lacks the active DLC shop of the other versions, which can be considered a blessing since any car in the city is driveable without payments this way. However, the Ultimate Speed Pack is included.
The Wii U Gamepad acts as the player's assist in what is called Co-Driver mode. The Co-Driver can turn off traffic, change the time of day and even change the color of the car to get cops off.
Trivia[]
- The game features Mario style Warp Pipes that act as shortcuts. They are exclusive to the Wii U version.
